Yay! I got mail today! And not just a little mail, I got a ton (three days worth to be exact) of packages! Including my February 2014 Citrus Lane box(es)!
If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. Citrus Lane recently raised their prices from $25/month to $29/month, but if you sign up for a longer subscription, you can get boxes for as little as $19/month.
Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and took the standard week everything that ships via SmartPost takes. I do miss their old shipping method!
I’d seen some Citrus Lane spoilers for this month, but there were some variations in the toys so I wasn’t totally sure what I would get.
The February 2014 Citrus Lane box includes items to help you brighten up this dismal weather. Here is what was in our box, which was for WB who is a 22 month-old boy:
~Build-A-Burger from Green Toys ($8.50): We received a Build-A-Burger from CL in the past, but it was in a box for a 3.5 year old, so I can’t complain about the repeat. Both kids play with it so a spare is totally fine with us.
~Silicone Divided Plate from Oogaa ($10.99): Oh, I love this plate! It’s silicone, so it’d not going to break when WB tosses it on the ground (he still likes to do that) and it’s totally usable because the compartments are nice and deep. I am likely going to try and trade for another one.
~Starlight Sailor from Barefoot Books ($14.99): This book is great and was enjoyed by both WB and L. It’s a very sweet story and is perfect for out collection. We get so many fabulous books in subscription boxes that I rarely ever have to buy any!
~Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12): I love Juice Beauty and I love hand cream, so this is a no brainer. It smells great and made my hands feel great too. I am sure I will end up getting more of this too.
All totaled I came up with a total of $46.48 for the February 2014 Citrus Lane Box. Not only was this box a great value (Citrus Lane is $29/month but I have a longer subscription so I pay even less), I loved everything in it.
I also got a box for a 7-month old boy this month which included a Bodysuit from Tea Collection ($19), Pulp Teething Feeder from Boon ($7.49), Bedtime Rhymes from Barefoot Books ($6.99) and Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12) for a total value of $45.48. I thought this one was a great one too and I think it might be the first time we ever received an outfit from Citrus Lane!
Did you get Citrus Lane this month? What’d you get in your box and what age is your little one? And if you are interested in subscribing, click here and get signed up. You automatically get 50% off your first box – no code needed!
My son is 28 months and our box was very similar to the one for WB. Our plate is green, and we got the build a sandwich set instead of the burger. I love the book – my son is already begging for it again and again at bedtime.
My card said Build A Sandwhich, but we got a burger.
I just received my box for a 6 month old girl and it looks the exact same as your 7 month old boy box except I got a girl outfit of course! I think this is my favorite box so far!
It was a really good one!
Mine came today too. So excited. Thank you again. I agree after no mail yesterday it came 3 times today. LOL I happened to be outside when the first one came and the lady said yesterdays route was down whatever that means. Then a little later I heard something and had a package on the front porch and then even later I had more packages on the porch and in the mailbox. Craziness today.
I didn’t even ask what happened yesterday. I had SO much mail today though to sort though.
Where do you trade?? I get so much I want to start trading stuff I don’t use so others can love it. 🙂
THere is a Facebook group I am in. I swore I sent you an invite once? Maybe not. Let me know if you need one!
Oh yea I’m never on Facebook I forgot about it lol I’ll get on and try! I was off so long I don’t know how it all works on there.
Mine hasn’t come yet but I’m pretty sure it will be similar to yours. This month it’s shipping USPS and has yet to leave the facility though I received the shipping info on the 13th and the shipping info is at USPS since the 17th but the package hasn’t gone anywhere? I hate their shipping.
We love books here to and I bought one today that’s called “No No Yes Yes” and cracks me up. The left page is the no page and the right page is the yes page. One of them is no for unrolling the toilet paper roll (which E does daily) and she just gave me a look like yeah, right, your book is a misprint. But I’m definitely looking forward to this box, it looks great!
My bluum one is like that this month! So slow!!!!
And I am cracking up. Clearly she knows the book is wrong!
I got the exact same box as your 7-mo-old box, except for a girl (flower print romper). I was SO excited to see a clothing item!!! I love that Oogaa dish you got!
I was surprised to see it and wish I had a baby little enough to fit in it!
I got the same box as your 7 month box but with a girlie bodysuit for my 8 month old. Love new books, and the print on the outfit is cute. The feeder isn’t that useful (I do baby led weaning ish food) but maybe with cold stuff for teething!
I used to have a similar one for my older son that I used as a teether. I never used it for actual food. He loved it.
So jealous of your plate! My 12 month old got the bowl and the Boon water bugs that I’ve been waiting for. Everything else is the same. I loved the book! She wasn’t as interested…
We love those Boon bugs!
We got a 24 month old Girl Box – and this was the first out of the 3 we received that I was actually happy about, We got the divider plate in pink (Love it!!), the Green toys pot and utensils ( which my little one loves!) , the same book as you (which I love this book also) and the lotion..
This was our last box in the 3 month subscription I purchased on black Friday, I cancelled, but I did pick up a great deal on a 3 month subscription to Bluum on Rue La La that I cant wait to see what we get in that!!
overall I was actually pretty happy with this box and wish the other 2 were as good.
It’s hard when you get the subscription for such a great price! It makes you want to keep it, but at that price!!!!!
Not much change between your 22 month old box and my 15 month box… but still love it! The book is absolutely adorable!! See my review here: http://whattheschneck.blogspot.com/2014/02/citrus-lane-february-2014-review.html
I’ll check it out! Thanks!
Is this your favorite box for the kiddies? I’m currently pregnant and I’m going to be canceling my Glossybox when the baby comes so I can put the $ towards something for our little guy. Thanks!
I don’t know that you can beat the price for Citrus Lane! It’s a great deal! I like Silly Rhino too. And Austin Lloyd is fabulous. Those are more though!
