Yay! I got mail today! And not just a little mail, I got a ton (three days worth to be exact) of packages! Including my February 2014 Citrus Lane box(es)!
If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. Citrus Lane recently raised their prices from $25/month to $29/month, but if you sign up for a longer subscription, you can get boxes for as little as $19/month.
Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and took the standard week everything that ships via SmartPost takes. I do miss their old shipping method!
I’d seen some Citrus Lane spoilers for this month, but there were some variations in the toys so I wasn’t totally sure what I would get.
The February 2014 Citrus Lane box includes items to help you brighten up this dismal weather. Here is what was in our box, which was for WB who is a 22 month-old boy:
~Build-A-Burger from Green Toys ($8.50): We received a Build-A-Burger from CL in the past, but it was in a box for a 3.5 year old, so I can’t complain about the repeat. Both kids play with it so a spare is totally fine with us.
~Silicone Divided Plate from Oogaa ($10.99): Oh, I love this plate! It’s silicone, so it’d not going to break when WB tosses it on the ground (he still likes to do that) and it’s totally usable because the compartments are nice and deep. I am likely going to try and trade for another one.
~Starlight Sailor from Barefoot Books ($14.99): This book is great and was enjoyed by both WB and L. It’s a very sweet story and is perfect for out collection. We get so many fabulous books in subscription boxes that I rarely ever have to buy any!
~Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12): I love Juice Beauty and I love hand cream, so this is a no brainer. It smells great and made my hands feel great too. I am sure I will end up getting more of this too.
All totaled I came up with a total of $46.48 for the February 2014 Citrus Lane Box. Not only was this box a great value (Citrus Lane is $29/month but I have a longer subscription so I pay even less), I loved everything in it.
I also got a box for a 7-month old boy this month which included a Bodysuit from Tea Collection ($19), Pulp Teething Feeder from Boon ($7.49), Bedtime Rhymes from Barefoot Books ($6.99) and Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12) for a total value of $45.48. I thought this one was a great one too and I think it might be the first time we ever received an outfit from Citrus Lane!
