Here it is! The February 2014 PopSugar Must Have Box contains the following (at least as far as I can tell!!!):

All totaled I came up with a value of about $124.99 for the February 2014 PopSugar Box! That could change though as we know more about the sizes and candy details! Not too sure about variations (nail polish, jewelry rolls, etc.) yet, but hopefully we’ll know more as more people get their box! And, as usual, I will share my thoughts on the box once I have it in my hot little hands! But for now, what do you think?
Hmm, it’s not as WOW as I was hoping it would be to want to return to them on a regular basis. I was hoping it would be more Valentine-ish. And I have two of these boxes coming my way!

The speculation on MUT is that it’s a picture of candy from the Sugarwish?
That is kinda what I thought. Maybe they sent a sample with the giftcode since thats how sugarwish works. That looks like their black licorice pastels listed on their site.

Yes, they sent 1/4 pound of cinnamon hearts with a coupon for 20% off a future petite sugarwish order. (The petite sugarwish box is 1 pound of candy for $25.)

I don’t mind the Dial since it’s not a huge portion of the value of the box (plus my 5 year old thinks he needs a ton of body wash every time he showers), but I am so excited to know what the other two items are!
Well, I’ve become a body wash snob recently, in large part because of Pop Sugar! 🙂

I opened the box, and immediately my husband said that he liked the smell of the Dial, so it went straight to him. One less thing to buy the next time I am at the store. Love that.

I don’t mind the Dial. It doesn’t really fit, but it will for sure get used.

Ohhh, good eye! I am not 100% sure. I know there is a G&G coupon in the box and they usually have a G&G item when they do that, but really, it’s hard to tell!

It is a jewelry roll. Mine is the Brooks Jewelry Roll. Perfect for an upcoming vacation. It also includes a $25 gift card. I used it to buy a cute pair of earrings with a $30 price. There are several rings on the site for $25…
Really??? This is February’s box. I am super disappointed, to me this is not worth $40. I was really hoping for a good book, or some sort of wrap like last’s years box. I really hope popsugar gets their stuff together. It’s my favorite box I receive but this is crap 🙁
I know a lot of people were upset with that wrap last year because it wasn’t really one size fits all. I want slippers. That would cause trouble too though!

I completely agree! If it was red, it wouldn’t bother me so much that they tossed a drugstore item in there!

Oh no doubt I am being picky! I think people just zoom in one it since everything is reddish / pinkish and this is green. If it were in a red bottle I think people would be more accepting!
I just don’t know about this box. I will have to have it in my hands in order to judge….but looking back at the few I have gotten and the many you have reviewed seems like PS is losing their touch. I might not hang onto this sub box after April when my thing is up.
There were for sure some months people didn’t go crazy for even a year or so ago. Did you get the one with the green bag, bracelet and chocolate? That one was a big discussion!
No I started right after you guys go the one with the cookbook…what was that November box? Or October…..not sure. I me what gets me is almost every time we do get the “value” of cost there but most times are either hard for find to really “value” or they are clearance immediately. But, we will see. I love Glossbox….although it’s all makeup or products…I love it and see the value there.
I think you started in November. I would never pay $100 or whatever the “real” value is for the box, but if I can total up what I would spend individually on the items (jewelry roll $20, candy $3, candle $10, etc.) and can get to $40, I am happy!

Well, I for one am very excited. I always get a little disappointed when I see people really bashing the boxes (mostly onmakeuptalk, not so much here 😉 ), I don’t know why! Could be a personal problem, haha! I totally get giving feedback – but everyone was upset there wasn’t more makeup in last month’s box…and then this one has more makeup, and they’re upset with that? I don’t really understand. As long as the value is there (i.e. more than $100 worth of stuff), isn’t the whole idea of a subscription box that you’re going to be surprised, and maybe not happy with a couple of the items?
I’m excited. Is Dial body wash exciting? Eh, no, but I’ll use it, and it’s a $3 item, so who cares? The jewelry roll alone pays for the box! I don’t know, maybe I’m in a bad mood and it’s bleeding all over spoiler threads!
The Dial isn’t exciting, but I am certain it will be what is used up first around here!
This is my first box and I think I’ll really like it! I may be the only one who likes the idea of the body wash. Lol!

I am always happy with pop sugar while most are criticizing it .. hope its not weird.. Its like a gift every month and introduces me to new and useful things which I would never shop for on my own. The jewelry roll, organic face and the lip gloss is worth the value for me.

I COMPLETELY agree with you! When I subbed, my fiance told me, you know don’t get upset if you don’t like something because it can be used as a gift to a friend or family member.
It really is a grab bag of goodies. Some you will love. Some you won’t. And I expect that.
I agree! For only $40 a month, I usually keep a couple favorite items and the others go into a box to be gifted to friends or donated. If you have a domestic violence or refugee shelter in your city, they are always looking for things like dial soap or make up 😉
I will be getting my very first box this month and am super excited. However, I will play devil’s advocate here and pose this question…Is it possible that they cheaped out because they offered that half off discount? Or because they offered the half price discount they cheaped out? It lured a lot of peeps in (me, totally me) and now a lot of those same peeps will stay in (me, totally me) just to see what is next. Just a thought because I do wonder what drives these sub companies to put what they put into boxes. Okay truthfully the whole process fascinates me and I have a slight crush on the idea of subscription box businesses. WOW, overshare!! Thanks ya’ll and enjoy!!
LOL! I don’t know? They probably curate these boxes months in advance. It’s possible they realized they had a ton of extra boxes for February so they offered that incentive to get them sold? Not sure!
I get very ticked off at folks who say there isn’t enough makeup in these boxes. This is not a makeup box! And OMG they hate that there is food in the box? There is food in every one of the boxes, that’s part of the subscription! Sigh. Do I think this is the best box ever? No. Will I use pretty much everything in the box? Yes, and I don’t even think any will go to gifts, it will all get used by me.
PopSugar should have a contest to see what people would put in a box. Give them a limit of say $150 and see what people would curate. That would be so fun!

I am so excited for the jewelry roll! I wonder if we all get red? I am out of the age bracket that Pop Sugar targets but I will find a use for all of the items. I really like the quality of the nail polish and lipstick.
I think the information card just showed a red one, so I am guessing no variations on that one.
I like this box, but I think I liked January’s better! The only reason I say that though is because I JUST bought a Gorjana jewelry wallet, so I wish I would have gotten the jewelry roll in an earlier box! That being said, both the wallet and roll have different types of compartments, with the wallet having clips for necklaces and hoop earrings, so I will probably end up using both!
The only item that seems out of place to me is the Dial body wash, but it will get used. I think if they had the Lulah body wash in this box, particularly the pink and purple bottles (Vanilla Orchid & Magnolia Fig), this box would have been a huge hit. It would have been the perfect girly, “pamper me” addition to this box.
I think I would agree with that. A pretty colored fancy bubble bath / body wash would have gone over well!

Yup, I’ve done a few trades/sells here & there but it seems like everyone is trying to get rid of the same things LOL! Also, lately, the “big ticket items” are not doing it for me.. the bracelet, the jewelry roll.. thank heavens for last month’s mask!
I really enjoyed the special edition men’s box more than any of the ones I’ve been getting 🙁 everything in that box was on point! Jealous of my SO! Got it for him for xmas lol

I will buy them from you for 30 dollars each! I absolutely love these boxes. Darn near Everything they pick I LOVE. I love being able to get new things for myself at these prices. No guilt here. I will love and adore everything in this box, let me tell ya! I would never splurge on all this stuff otherwise. I can’t wait to paint my toenails red for valentines day, and use all the other stuff.
January was my last box, and I am not missing it based on February. It was definitely a hit and miss sub for me, but I can’t complain. I got lucky w some items, I loved the bracelet from December. The rest? Easy gift pile.
Onto glossybox and ipsy, lol. I think I’d be more magnanimous about PS if my sub was referral funded. I’m curious, comparing past boxes if they’re going to stick around? It seems like the quality is going down.
I wonder if the number of subscribers they have causes them some curation issues?
LOVE Glossybox! Have you tried them in the past? And ipsy’s values are always incredible. I don’t always love everything, but for $10, it’s a great deal!

I have glossybox and ipsy. Next month is the last for glossybox (gift sub), but ipsy? Seems to keep my from wasting my money on hit or miss drugstore stuff.

The Gorjana jewelry roll is terribly made! My pouch had two broken zippers and loose threads. And it smells really awful – like knock off purses! Disappointed in this box!

Worst box ever! I apologize to everyone I have ever recommended this sub. I can not believe that has a value of even $20. The jewelry case is going in the trash. It is pleather and mine also has broken zippers. I am canceling.

BE CAREFUL!! I almost threw away the G&G credit in the box because it’s small, white and looks like it just is identifying the brand! Not fancy at all, but a $25 gift card!!! I would have completely missed it if I hadn’t read through the comments on here!

I might be the only person who’s fairly excited about this box. I was JUST saying that I need a new travel jewelry organizer and I think it’s cute that they are sending something for our Valentine’s jewelry. Let me tell you that even if my husband doesn’t give me jewelry for Valentine’s Day, I WILL be getting some. lol My only dislike are the red hots and only because I’m allergic to cinnamon.

Maybe I’m just in a good mood today, or maybe it’s the fact that I didn’t stalk the spoilers this month (not by choice, I have no self control, but I was away. Lol), but I just opened my box and while I’m not overwhelmed, I’m pretty happy with it. At first I wasn’t thrilled with the lip duo because it’s so neutral but I love the way it looks. Taking that travel candle on vacation with me next week too! I already have a jewelry roll I love, but never hurts to have another. (I’ll be honest though, wouldn’t pay $45 for it!)
I browsed past boxes and while I agree that many haven’t had much of a “wow” factor since late last summer, I still like this sub the best. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to browse the gorjana griffin site and see how I can spend my $25… 🙂

I just got my box and am quite happy! Yes, the Dial is a touch odd. And, guess what, I don’t like cinnamon hearts (but my Mom loves them and they make a PERFECT gift!). I’m allergic to rose, so the Nourish is out for me. The Gorjana jewelry roll makes it all absolutely worth it! (Not to mention some of the other goodies). The value of this box is over the top and there is no way any sub box maker can make everyone happy across the board.
This is the end of my three month subscription that I had bought during Black Friday and absolutely plan on renewing. 🙂

I got my box yesterday and I really like it! I love the NCLA nail polish color. I’ve never tried that brand before so I’m excited to give it a go. I’ve never thought about buying a jewelry roll but I think it could be really helpful on trips. I love floral scents so that candle is a great win for me! Also, I really like the way the Dial body wash smells. This box was a really fun treat! 🙂
