March 2014 Fabletics - Embodied
March 2014 Fabletics – Embodied

Yesterday was a big mail day around here (which was probably a good thing since I am not too sure the mail will come today) and one of the things I received was my March 2014 Fabletics package!

In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95/month.   And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and won’t be charged.

The Package

Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about five days to arrive.  Maybe even less?  I wasn’t expecting it to come until at least today, so I was shocked to see it yesterday.

FIrst Look

Everything comes packaged in individually sealed bags.  I have never had a problem with receiving the wrong items, sizes or anything like that, but if you have had an issue, leave a comment because I am curious about how returns are handled.  Since you select which Fabletics outfit you wish to receive there isn’t an information card – just a packing slip.  I opted for the “Embodied” look this month which consisted of the following:

~Norwalk Tank (White / Bright Aqua) ($34.95):  Hmm, I am not sure what I was thinking when I ordered this.  For one thing, it’s see through.  Which looking back at the outfit online I can now see, but clearly I missed it the first time.   And I must have also missed that it shows some back skin.  Neither is something that would look good on me.  LOL.  I’ll be wearing this at home or with a jacket over it!

~Lima Capri Fold Over Waist ($39.95): Totally love these capris.  The bright fold over waist, the fit, everything.  After having washed my Fabletics stuff for a few months now, I’ve noticed a lot more pilling than I get on my Lululemon things.  It’s also 1/4th of the price, so that may explain it.  Maybe I should be washing it separate like lulu suggests (which I don’t follow) to help avoid it?  Do you wash things like this separate?

The March 2014 Fabletics outfit I selected had a value of $71.90.  I paid $49.95 and while I love the pants, I am a little annoyed at myself about the top.  Totally my own fault though!  I think the gorgeous capris just sucked me in and I went for it without thinking clearly.

What do you think of Fabletics?  Something you’d check out?  New members get 50% off their first outfits right now automatically, so if you are interested in ordering or just want to check out their outfits, click here!
