PijonBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box geared towards college students. Each PijonBox includes 5-6 products selected just for college students (subscriptions are customized by male and female – I got the female) and contain a value of $30-$50 per box.

My PijonBox shipped via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can upgrade to FedEx Ground for a few dollars more if you want it to arrive faster.

First Look

I knew I’d seen a few pictures of the March PijonBox floating around, but I couldn’t quite recall what was inside. And even from the first look I still couldn’t remember.

The Information Card

The March 2014 PijonBox theme was “Get Energized” and included the following items to get you up and energized:

~TOCCS Panorama Earbuds ($29): I can always use new earbuds and I am guessing that college students are the same way.  Where do they all go?  I have no idea.

~Energems Mint Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate Energy Candies ($2.99/each): B and I both love these!  They have caffeine and chocolate which are two of my favorite things.  Oh and B-Vitamins too ;).

~Revolution Tea Sample Pack ($2.99): This tea contains the serve health benefits as a serving of vegetables, which is awesome.  However, I still don’t plan on drinking it.  B might like this one though, so I will keep this.

~Plump for Joy Thickening Hair Lifter from Not Your Mother ($5.99): This spray is suppose to lift and thicken your hair and Pijon suggests using it after a workout.  I like Not Your Mothers stuff and my hair always needs a boost (it actually really needs a haircut).

~Pan De Oro Organic Tortilla Chips ($3.99): These chips are billed as a great post snack workout.  I don’t know that I think of chips as an after workout snack, but I will be saving them for Taco Tuesday!

All totaled I came up with a value of $47.95 for the March 2014 PijonBox for her.  I liked the big items (the hair product and the headphones) so I consider this one a win. Boxes are $29/month and are even less if you purchase a longer subscription.
