It’s time for another Thursday Thoughts! If you want to participate, but have no idea what a link-up is, you can check out my explanation of it here.

~This week is dragging. I don’t know if it was because B wasn’t home much this past weekend or what, but I am over it. This winter is never going to end. Which means that my complaining about all this weather is never ending as well! I am at least glad that we will be Springing Forward this weekend. I don’t even care about losing an hour of sleep, I just want more daylight. I don’t get enough sleep anyway, so it doesn’t even matter. LOL!

~Last night was Kindergarten Reading Night for L’s school at one of our local libraries.  I wanted to skip it, but L insisted so off we went!  And it was such a good time.  L loved it and so did WB (B was at school).  I don’t know why, but we have never been to this library before and it is amazing.  L was off with his friends and WB went crazy with the train table and all the fun things they had.  Why on earth didn’t I know about this place sooner??  We’ll be back.  Maybe even this weekend (when B is away again).

Giddy Up!
Giddy Up!

~My search for reasonable priced plane tickets has come to an end. It appears that I am not going to get a non-stop flight to Florida at the times I want for anything less than $800/person. And since we need 6 tickets?  #nothappening. That just seems like complete insanity. So I think we are driving. Which is also insanity because that means we will be in the car with WB for like 20 hours.  It should make for some scenic Instagram pictures though!

~I watched this week’s Teen Mom last night and compared to some recent ones, it was rather dull. But I still think that Jenelle’s attorney is the hardest working man out there.  I can’t imagine what he thinks about her and all these messes she’s involved in.  It’s probably similar to what Randy thinks about Adam and all his troubles.  LOL!

~Let’s see, what subscription boxes am I still expecting this week?  I would love if my March PopSugar box appeared, but I bet mine won’t arrive until next week.  I am thinking someone will get their box today or tomorrow though, so fingers crossed for spoilers!  I am also expecting Mama’s Got Mail, Elizabeth & Clark, Artistry Gift Wrap, Try The World, Fancy Food Box and I got a shipping notification for Her Fashion Box, but that’s coming from Australia, so that probably won’t get here this week.

~Someone please tell me they are following along with this Teresa and Joe Giudice court case?  I can’t believe they pled guilty.  Not that I believe they are innocent, but I can’t believe they said they were!  What’s even more shocking is that we haven’t discussed this before, but better late than never.  Do you think they will grant her house arrest?  Clearly she is going to write a book on this and clearly I am going to read it because I need to know what’s up here!

~Why is it that when Jimmy Fallon plays flip cup on his show, I also have an overwhelming urge to play?  I think B and I are going to play this weekend.  He doesn’t know it yet (well he does now because he just read this), but I think he’ll love the idea.  Sounds like a fun Sunday night activity to me!

What’s going on for your Thursday?  Do you have any weekend plans?  Let me know and of course, link-up!

Hoping for some PSMH spoilers! I am SO bad with spoilers…I just do not like to be surprised? Is Teresa really writing a book? I will most likely read it too! 🙂

    1. Jennifer

I would assume she is going to write a book. She needs to pay back that money!

  2. my big plan – having the snow melt (not happening today) so we can get to the grocery store. we didn’t go last week. we have to go this weekend!

    1. Jennifer

Ugh. I so want this snow to melt!

  3. jill

I laugh every time I think of Janelle saying “I like to wear heels to court, it makes me seem more classier” LOL

    1. Jennifer

      LOL. She’s a trip.

  4. Brandy Fisk

We have driven to Disney twice. Once from NY and once from NE. Each trip was approximately 23 hours. If you can I’d advise to start driving late evening taking turns sleeping/driving. Less traffic and the kids should sleep and not need diaper changes/potty breaks. If you can drive from 6 pm-8am straight you will have 14 hours down. Get out for breakfast and let the kids run around (we found that stopping at a attraction for 1 hr helped the kids). Get back on the road at 9am and drive til 3-4pm stopping for lunch when someone needs a potty break. It will be check in time at the hotel. We brought lots of non salty snacks like fruit and limited drinks. It is very doable!

    1. Jennifer

I think we’ve only got 18-20 hours or so? With a few breaks, it’s doable! Lots of games and movies for sure.

  5. Jenny

WOW and I thought our flights were bad those are crazy high. Driving sounds like your plan. Will you guy make it two days and stop in the middle somewhere? When we go to Boston which is about 13hrs we usually stop on the way up but the just bight the bullet and drive the whole way on the way back. I’m not opposed to the time its just the drive to Boston is so much worse then the drive to Fla. Even though to get to Miami is longer it just seems easier. I think its the lack of going though huge cities.

    1. Jennifer

Oh we’ll do it in a day. Just straight through. It’ll be like the olden days when we used to drive to Florida with my parents when I was younger!

      1. Jenny

I remember driving all over growing up too so I think its so funny when I think 12hrs at a time is my max now. LOL especially with the boys. And this is coming from the person who took a roller coaster road trip for her honeymoon. Yeap we drove all around for almost 2 weeks for our honeymoon. M loved it.

        1. Jennifer

OMG you did? Ddid you go to Cedar Pointe? LOL!

        2. Jenny

We did. I love Cedar Point. We went there and then over to the Rock n Roll hall of fame in Cleveland, Then up to Niagara Falls since it was so cliche to go to the honeymoon capital of the world and on the way back down we went to Hershey Park. Stayed at the Hershey Hotel and got chocolate massages. It was AWESOME.

I’m excited just checked my tracking and looks like my wantable intimates should be here today and popsugar on saturday or possibly tomorrow so I might be able to go spoiler free other then the scarf they told all of us about. I’m kind of hoping for a good book to also be in there.

    1. Jennifer

Yay!!!! It’s kind of light for a book, but maybe a paperback??

  7. Sara

Check on flights out of Rockford Illinois if you haven’t already. I know you’re in Michigan and I’m not sure how long of a drive that would be for you but the flights are usually priced REALLY well! Plus the airport is so small, convenient, and fast if you have kids.

    1. Jennifer

That’s kind of far. We have a bunch of smaller airports around here and none of them are any cheaper either ;(

  8. Alex

I went to Target last night and they have Angie’s Kettle Corn in a Frosted Cupcake flavor….I ate almost the entire bag and I don’t know if its your thing, but you should really try it!! They also have Confetti Cake Muddy Buddies…also amazing

    1. Jennifer

Ohhh, I picked up those Muddy Buddies from Target, but I didn’t see the Kettle Corn? I need to find that!

  9. Crystal

Driving to Disney! Yikes!!! You guys will be so exhausted when you get there.

Where are you staying? We always stay at the Wilderness Lodge because it is so close to the Magic Kingdom where we spend the majority of our time, and we can take the boat over instead of the bus for a nice change of pace.

    1. Jennifer

Art of Animation! We used to drive when we were younger. I think we’ll be okay!

      1. Crystal

That place looks great. I love the Little Mermaid rooms! Can’t wait to see pics.

  10. Heather

I’m surprised too that Teresa pled guilty- I thought she would try to get Juicy Joe to take the fall for everything! 🙂 I do feel bad for their kids though.

    1. Jennifer

Agreed. I think Juicy Joe would just take all the blame!

  11. Ha ha. I wrote a post this morning but forgot to link it up! That is pretty much how my week has been going! My mail just came, and it as if they have been holding all my packages somewhere, because they all showed up at once. I already went to the gym, but I can’t wait to try on my new Ellie outfits.

I don’t follow court cases, usually. I do think the one with Amanda Knox is interesting, and frightening.

    1. Jennifer

I am fascinated by the Amanda Knox trial@ I am still working on reading her book!

  12. Cheryl

Reality Tea posted a great explanation of the Teresa/Joe plea deal. I check that site every day- they do the BEST recaps on the Housewives and Teen Mom!

    1. Jennifer

      I need to read tonight!!!

  13. Jill

I wonder if Joe is going to get deported? And is Teresa going to be on the next season of RHONJ? I hope so!

    1. Jennifer

I think she is going to be the season. And I do wonder about Juicy Joe!

  14. Sam Stamp

I’ve never played Flip Cup before but I think it would be an awesome game to play with my boyfriend and some of our friends. I’m sure I will lose like Jimmy Fallon did.
This weekend my boyfriend and I are driving home to visit my mom and my gramma for their birthdays! My Gramma’s 86th Birthday is on Sunday and my Mom’s 29th (48th) Birthday is on Monday! The family is having a party on Sunday so it should be a lot of fun. We’re all going to watch the Syracuse Basketball Game. Hopefully they can break out of their loosing streak!

    1. Jennifer

      That does sound like fun!

  15. Mrs. L

It’s amazing how much travel is costing these days. We spent hours last night trying to find an inexpensive rental car in Hawaii…we finally just gave up and paid the piper so to speak.

As for Joe and Teresa I’m figuring they had them dead to right so the only way to not have really lengthy jail time was to plead guilty? I’ll have to go read Reality Tea to find out what they say.

    1. Jennifer

Seriously it’s insanity. We needed to rent a car in Florida too, so maybe driving is just better.

  16. Mrs. L

    Oh wait, I love this:

“Teresa and Joe are not your ordinary defendants given their “very unique circumstance.” She adds, “There has never been a case of this magnitude involving a celebrity and his wife from a hit show. It could very well be a case of reverse celebrity justice.”

Um, the only reason they are celebrities is because they lied/cheated/stole/etc to make them seem rich!

    1. Jennifer

      LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Melissa

Not sure if you’ll find anything better, but we always use itasoftware.com to search. You can search whatever city and include nearby airports, search by calendar…and so on. You then need to use their search to find the flights on the airlines site, but we always find great deals doing it that way! Hoping you all don’t have to drive!

    1. Jennifer

I don’t think I have heard of that site! Thanks!

  18. Danielle

Have you checked flights through Allegiant? I don’t know how far from Grand Rapids or Lansing you are, but you can fly right into Orlando from either. I’m crossing my fingers for you that it’s way cheaper than $800 pp because that’s just crazy!

    1. Jennifer

Yeah I have looked everywhere. They don’t even have any flights on the days I need!

  19. Adrienne A

I actually received my Birchbox today – which is totally amazing for Michigan. It’s a pretty good one this month too – 6 items!

    1. Jennifer

That is so fast! I don’t even know if mine has shipped!

  20. Genevieve

My PopSugar box is on it’s way. It’s here in Chicago but needs to go all the way up to Milwaukee before it comes back to me. Yeah, don’t know why. It’s only 1.8 lbs though so I’m curious what’s in it. I know about the scarf but I’m trying to go spoiler free. This is my last box in the series and I’m trying to decide to stick with it or try something else. Anyone have any recommendations? I do Glossy, Birchbox and Ipsy already but like to try the more expensive boxes too.

    1. Jennifer

What about SocialBliss? Or everyone keep talking about the Nina Garcia Quarterly Co? Although I want to see what’s in this one before I decide!

      1. Genevieve

I was thinking about the Nina Garcia box! I can’t remember if I liked the last one or if I even looked to see what was in it. Hmm, maybe socialbliss.
