Artzooka: L and I caught this show on some random (non-cable) channel (Qubo?) the other night and we were hooked. This dude basically makes all this cool stuff out of, well whatever. Newspapers, blocks, kids toys, etc. are all turned into cool projects. I love that it shows kids how creative they can be and how you don’t need a ton of stuff to make something fun and cool! I actually think we received an Artzooka craft kit once, but this was the first time I actually caught the show (I don’t even know if I was aware there was a show).

Princess Lacey and AP. If you haven’t heard the story, I will give you a little background. Adreian Payne is a basketball player at Michigan State. Lacey is an 8 year-old with cancer he met a few years ago when he was visiting kids in the hospital with the team. Â They became close and now are like brother and sister. Â Â He’s a member of their family now and she went to Senior Night at MSU with him. Â I hope she kicks cancers but and they are friends forever!

Jane Green Books. I didn’t realize that Jane Green had a book out that I haven’t ready yet! Â I love her books and saw her on Kathie Lee and Hoda yesterday (I am guessing that was a rerun?). Â Ha anyone read this? Â Tell me everything!

The Boys! WB was already asleep or he certainly would have jumped in the picture above.  I love the way my boys light up when they see each other or when they see B. Or even when WB sees me (after not seeing me for 10 minutes).  They are only going to be this little for so long so if WB wants to get up at 10pm and hang out with B and I, or L wants to sleep in our bed because he had a nightmare, so be it!!!  I’ll sleep in twenty years or so!

This Jacket / Hoodie. Â I have no idea where this image is from (other than Pinterest) so I have no idea who makes that grey jacket, but I am obsessed with it. Â It’s perfect. Â That entire look is perfect actually. Â But that jacket? Â Ahh, I love that jacket.

Georgina Duvet. Â I know I posted about how I wanted a new duvet and the truth is, I really want this one. Â I kind of always have, but lately it’s been calling my name more and more. Â It’s way too expensive right now and would get trashed (kids, dogs, etc.), but it’s on my dream want list.

I’ve never heard of Artzooka but it looks fun. We have a local store here called the Scrap Exchange that looks to have all kinds of stuff that I really really need. I’ve never actually been but I do like them on FB and they post pictures all the time. I really need to find a day where I have hours to dig around and look.
Oh that store sounds pretty cool. I need to see if we have something like that. I spent 30 minutes last night watching some lady give a tour of her craft room. B was like what are you doing? I didn’t even want to admit to it.

Thanks for sharing the story of Princess Lacey and AP. It really made me smile. I haven’t heard about them, because my husband and I don’t follow sports. I am so glad they found each other.
It’s so sweet. He doesn’t have any family and they have kind of adopted him and she thinks he hung the moon. I love it.
Such a great coat! There’s a website devoted to this very problem called thehunt.com. Basically, you post an image, and people try to figure out where it’s from and how you can buy it. You can post this image on the website and see if you have any luck!

You should look at Zulily for duvets. They often have one that look similar to the Antropologie one but for a much more affordable price.

I too love the Anthropologie house and home section, but they are expensive. I always find myself waiting for their really good sales. I got the Marseilles (?) Duvet for a really good price when they had the 50% off the already reduced sale!
Oh I need to get a sale like this on the comforter I want! That might actually make it doable!
I love Dollar Tree for party supplies and did you know they had washi tape there? A whole display.

Anthro has the most gorgeous duvets ever. I had my eye on one for years and never bought it before it was discontinued. I don’t think I’d have ever been able to afford it but I was still sad. I bought a knockoff from Zulily from a brand called “Lush Decor” and it’s cheap and crappy. Such a bummer!
Ugh. This better not get discontinued. Does anthro have an outlet anywhere?
That duvet is rather beautiful isn’t it! Love that jacket too I hope someone knows how makes it! I am currently loving fresh flowers in my room and the fact that it is no longer dark when I walk home from work!

Love that hoodie jacket but I can not pay that much for clothes! Who can?? I usually can find stuff like that at Nordstrom online though. And free shipping! What is not to love? Can you look at home goods for a duvet? I know the quality is not the same but then at least you won’t worry if the kids mess it up.

The video of Lacy and AP moved me to tears. Love that the coach gets his kids to see no matter what you are facing, there is someone coping with more. May God keep both of them under his umbrella of mercy.
