Still loving these!

Currently Burning…

LOVE
LOVE

This picture is from the other day, but I am still burning (and loving) Target’s Sea Salt & Sand candle.  It’s amazing and I am planning on picking up a few more next time I am at Target.  So basically I am getting more tomorrow. 😉

Currently Watching…
The Final Four!!!  I am hoping for a Wisconsin-UCONN final and so far I’m 1 for 2!  It’s your turn Wisconsin!  GO BADGERS!

Currently On My “To Do” List…
Ahh, our taxes are almost completed (perhaps I could drag my feet a little more with those) and now I am moving on to “the closet”.  It’s my catch all closet where I put subscription box stuff and pretty much whatever that I need put away, but I don’t know where to put just yet.  Yeah.  I have put too much stuff in that closet lately and now it is time to separate and organize and use and trade and gift!  It’s a mess.  But a good mess.

Currently Excited About…

TJ Maxx Finds!
TJ Maxx Finds!

B and I (and WB – lucky L was at his Nana & Papa’s house) went to TJ Maxx this morning and OMG I found the two tubes of washi tape that I couldn’t find last weekend.  I had all the other ones, except these.  Ahh, I was so excited to see these just sitting there.  The only washi in the entire store.  I felt like I won the lottery.   I also scored socks for me, cupcake papers (I only seem to have holiday ones so I needed more) and a Tigers t-shirt for L!  Love that place.

Currently Anxious About…
Next week’s subscription boxes.  I am hoping for both PopSugar boxes and an expecting tons more stuff.  Hurry up!

Currently Obsession…

Awesome
Awesome

I used to just use Say Yes to Cucumber wipes and I really really like those.  However, I just recently picked up a pack of the Say Yes to Tomatoes Blemish Control ones and I like them even better.  They really work and aren’t drying or any of that.  Great stuff.

My US Weekly came in the mail today and I discovered so much while flipping through it.  #1. Kim Kardashian and Nick Lachey dated for like a week after he got divorced.  WHAT?  And #2., the next season of The Challenge starts next week!  Eeek!  I am so excited!

Currently Plotting…
Next years Spring (or Winter) Break.  I thought about maybe another cruise and now I am thinking about maybe just renting a house on the beach in FL and just relaxing.  Anyone been to Destin?  Thoughts?  I don’t know that I have ever been and it looks gorgeous.  And I feel like by next year a drive to FL with WB would be more doable than it is now ;).

What’s currently going on with you tonight?  Any big plans?

I haven’t been to Destin, but I lived in Pensacola for about 8 years and now I live in Tampa. I would recommend Sanibel which is near Ft. Myers, or Pensacola has beautiful beaches, but St. Pete is also a lot of fun.

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, I do love St. Pete / Clearwater! I went to the Final Four there once year and had a great time!

The panhandle in Florida is GORGEOUS. I have stayed in Pensacola, Golf Breeze, and Fort Walton beach, but we would go to Destin to hit the outlet mall there and hang out for a day.
They also say they have the whitest beaches in the panhandle! It’s so pretty compared to the brown Michigan beaches lol
It is definitely not as warm as southern Florida though in the winter and spring (obviously).

    1. Jennifer

I don’t believe I have ever been to the Panhandle?? Everyone raves about it though, so I feel like I need to see it. And an outlet mall too? Umm, yes please!

I may have to look for those candles – finally planned the first vacation in years and we’re going to Cape Cod again – this should really help me look forward to it!

    1. Jennifer

I hope you find them!! And that sounds like a great vacation!

  4. Jenny

I’m watching too. Wisconsin is my team I picked to win so hoping they can pull it out 🙂 Not that I want to win your challenge or anything but I am the highest one with Wisconsin 😉 LOL
I’ve never tried the other Yes products either. I may need to venture out. I have some makeup wipes for my trip all ready to go.
Currently besides watching the game I’m stuffing easter eggs for a hunt tomorrow with Disney stickers of course LOL
We were just talking about next Jan break too. N is out for 6 weeks that is more then he gets in the summer so we will go crazy. M said another Disney trip and N said “no I think we want to take a Disney Cruise next time.” Hmm I think he must be listening when my friend and I talk on the phone. 🙂

    1. Jennifer

      Fingers crossed!!

What is the Easter Egg hunt? L was practicing for easter yesterday ;). I don’t blame him. I want to take a cruise too!

      1. Jenny

The neighborhood moms group is getting together at a local park tomorrow with filled eggs. We will each bring 12 eggs per kid and then each kid will get to find 12 eggs. We are just going to toss them all out in a clearing there and let the kids go since we have all ages and its not a private area so we can’t really hide them well. After the hunt the kids are going to play on the play equipment there. Should be lots of fun.

BTW this game is killing me. So close.

        1. Jennifer

          It’s SO close. OMG. Insane.

That sounds so fun. What are you putting in them?

        2. Jenny

Grr. Oh well it was such a good game.

The boys helped me at Target today so we have a small bouncy ball and then some Disney stickers in each one. 🙂

We love Destin. Orange Beach, Alabama is another gorgeous spot with emerald water & white, powder sand. Destin is 6 hrs away/Orange Beach is 5. We go there often. So peaceful.

    1. Jennifer

I will have to look into Orange Beach too!

  6. Erin

I have been to Destin/Ft Walton Beach. It is a nice area. It’s a beach town and there are some fun things to do. The beach is nice and clean. There is also long pier in Ft Walton Beach (they are right next to each other). You can pay a small fee and go all the way down. It is really cool and where I got engaged. There are also dolphin tours and other fun things. We took our kids 6 months and 4 (at the time) and it was a great time.

    1. Jennifer

See this sounds perfect! Just beachy and fun!

  7. jamie

Disappointed in the Wisconsin prediction… Here’s to hoping you are wrong, for once 😉

    1. Jennifer

      It’s a great game!

  8. Amy D

You watch The Challenge? That’s so awesome. I don’t know anyone else who watches it. I’m actually watching an old season with my boyfriend at this exact second lol. Can’t wait for the new season.

    1. Jennifer

OMG yes. Every season. I love that show. I can;t wait to see who hooks up this season.

  9. Tammy

If it’s relaxing you want, you might try Dauphin Island, AL. VRBO.com has lots of houses with pictures to look at, and there are several rental agencies that handle houses on the island also.

    1. Jennifer

I will look into it! Thank you!

  10. Bethany

I once saw Destin on House Hunters and it looked beautiful! But never been there… Also, I actually put Wisconsin to win it all in my bracket for your March Madness challenge. Total guess. But the rest of my bracket is shot. I’m ranked 52, I think.

    1. Jennifer

My bracket doesn’t even have any teams left!!!!

  11. MJ

I am currently enjoying my Meme Superbox #2 and my HelloSpring Q Box. I got both of them yesterday and I’m very pleased with what was in them! I’ll try and post the pictures onto your FB page!

    1. Jennifer

Yay!! I need to get another meme box!

  12. Monica

Sorry about Wisconsin.. I wanted Florida so Im sorta out on mine too.. I didnt enter yours in time (mine is from work).. we have vacationed in a vrbo at panama city.. it has a neat little boardwalk and a fun upside down place for the kids.. we loved it… would like to go back but to many other places to see and not enough vacation time…

LOVE THE CHALLENGE!!! really all reality.. most of the stuff that you watch… lol.. i like that its everyone on their own.. ready to see CT kick some booty.. literally..

    1. Jennifer

Omg I love CT. Love him.

You are so right. So many great places. Not enough time!!

  13. Debby

Seacrest beach and Rosemary Beach are right next to Destin and I like them better. Ride bikes or walk just about everywhere. We only take the car out maybe 2 times a week.

    1. Jennifer

I will check both of those out! Thank you!

  14. Deena

I was stationed there for four years and loved it. So you have a choice of two base commissaries to use, but plenty of awesome restaurants. There’s a mini golf/water park place for when the salty ocean is too much. Yes, the outlet mall in San Destin is quite nice.

    1. Jennifer

Ohhh, there is a base there? I had no idea! I could even stock up on inexpensive supplies!

  15. Amanda C

Destin is our favorite! We go every year and rent a house with a private pool in the Crystal Sands area. Lots of good places to eat and fun things to do. Also check out 30A area. It’s in between Destin and Panama City Beach. Seaside is our favorite in that area.

    1. Jennifer

I will check it out! How far in advance do I need to book?

  16. Allyson

I’d have to agree with a previous poster, Pensacola beach is best. I lived in Destin and Gulf Breeze(Pensacola beach area) and Pensacola beach is nicer-hands down. People are more polite, it’s cleaner and slower pace. Destin has rowdy groups, similar to Panama City beach. We actually drove to and stayed right on Pensacola Beach last summer with our then one year old. FAVORITE vacation. Very relaxing 🙂 and I live in Savannah GA so I know a lot about relaxing.

    1. Jennifer

Oh, that is good to know! Can I ask where you stayed??

      1. Allyson Yates

Sure! We stayed at Holiday Inn Resort. It’s right on the beach with views of the gulf or sound. The pool is great with a lazy river and several times a day the pirates and mermaids perform and play with the kids. They offer plenty of activities. It’s also important to note: ft Walton, Destin, and Panama City are all very close. Just hope on 98 and you can make a day trip to any of those cities, like PCB to check out ripleys etc…
