The modcloth grab bags were great! I got 4 really nice dresses.
I don’t think I’ve gotten anything ‘stellar’ but I do love when the surprise/mystery boxes are so worth the $$.

Books! Honestly I don’t do a lot of subscription boxes. But once I got some Chronicle Counting books and they were awesome.

It’s hard to say, I really love scarf from the April PS box but then again the nest candle that I got in my $10 mystery box was pretty amazing too.
I have to choose just one item? I think my favorite is the Bodum Bistro Mugs from PopSugar (sent out forever ago). I reach for one all the time, and I was devastated when a roommates broke one of the mugs!

OH i would so LOVE to win this! I ordered a regular mystery box before they offered sizes and totally got the boring box most people received. Such a drag. Tempted to try again though. Best thing I ever got in a subscription box has to be my Brokedown scarf in a popsugar box. That scarf has gotten the most use out of everything.

The best thing I ever got from a mystery box was a black retro cocktail dress with gold stitching detail. It was worth $150! I paid $10 for it when ModCloth had Stylish Surprise deals.
Mine would be the muk luk slipper socks from Wantable intimates – they are a little big on me but I love having cozy toes!
The best thing I’ve ever gotten from a subscription/sample box was this amazing eye cream. I don’t even remember exactly what it was called, but it left my skin so soft!

I love the Chella highlighter pencil I got in Birchbox a few months ago. It was one of those things I never knew I needed until I had it. Plus, it was full size and worth more than I paid for the box!

I’m expecting my first citrus lane box this week, that will probably be my fav. But so far I think I like the Nivea Kiss of Color from the limited edition Birchbox best. It’s kind of boring I know, but I love that stuff! That was a great box for me.

A pair of organic cotton pjs that my LO loves. Cost twice the cost of the box and I would have never spent that kind of money on PJs, but kiddo loves them, so they were an awesome surprise.
I’ve wanted to order a large box for the past few weeks but haven’t made the plunge.
But the coolest thing I’ve ever gotten was 100% pure mascara… that stuff is amazing and smells so good!
I got the CUTEST shoes in my modcloth surprise, that’s probably my favorite surprise turn out. I also got the cutest dress from modcloth surprise, so I’m really hoping they do another one since it was such a win for me!
AAHHH!! So many choices! I think two of my all time favorites have been the anniversary circle necklace, and the Kai perfume oil, both from Popsugar.
One of the best things I’ve gotten was from the ModCloth apparel mystery bag! It’s a gorgeous maxi dress. Black and white striped tank top with a slightly gauze dark yellow bottom, cannot believe I only paid $10 for it!
The best thing i ever got in a Mystery/grab bag was my Red Jessica simpson coat from ModCloth’s Stylish Surprise. I paid $15, picked my size and got a beautiful red pea coat that fit like a dream! And it retailed for a good $120. WIN!

The best thing I’ve received in a box would have to be the tea collection onsie in February’s citrus lane box. Such a cute little baby outfit. Also, I loved a tribal print infinity scarf I got in my stitch fix box last month.

The April PopSugar Must Have was my first subscription box! I was so excited about everything but my favorite was the eyeshadow palette – such great colors.

This might sound crazy, but the best thing I’ve ever gotten were the headphones in the JLH Fancybox. It’s the only Fancybox I ever got (had a coupon code or something – they’re just so expensive!) but I use the heck out of the headphones. They’re a gorgeous teal color and my son has used them on flights quite often. I didn’t use a single thing from the rest of the box, but those headphones – aweeeesomeee! Worth the price of the box alone.
My favorite item was in my first PS box. The wetbrush. I was going through a bad hair faze and it totally fixed my issues. It was a product I would never have tried and it’s what got me hooked on the discovery aspect of sub boxes.

My favorite thing I have gotten in a sub box is the be a bombshell eye shadow pallette. So pigmented. This is corny but also the ladies of my sub box Facebook group. They are the best for advice. 🙂

I am new to the subscription box world but I must say any type of nail polish is always a plus!! Just ordered my first Julep mystery box and am very impatiently awaiting it’s arrival.

The best thing I’ve received in a sub box would be the Cailyn tinted lip balm I just received in April’s Ipsy bag. I got the acid pink color which is super bright pink, sooooo perfect for me. I rocked it last night for work.
It was such a mess. Bluehost (my server)’s Facebook is a giant disaster of complaints from people! I couldn’t believe it was down so long!!!!!! I tried not to be too annoyed, but I was. LOL.
The Molasses Spice cookies from Grey Ghost Bakeries that came in my Love With Food box. My son and I both loved them! Really good flavor and they’re chewy instead of crisp or super soft.
I’m new to these boxes – I get Ipsy and Glossy Box and my husband gets Loot Crate. I have purchased 5 of the Fancy Mystery Boxes (before they came in sizes) 2 mens and 3 womens. I now have 2 of the vinyl wall decals.. well 3 of them but 2 are the ‘ones’ everyone got. So with my limited experience I’d say the best thing I’ve gotten so far was from my first Ipsy bag last month – Bare Minerals Moxie lipstick in Get Ready. I tend to favor lip gloss and the color seemed bright for me and perhaps not age appropriate but I quickly fell in love with it and bought the full size one.
It’s kind of boring but my favorite thing was the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream that came in my very first Glossybox. I fell in love with that stuff! And subscription boxes… As as aside, I tried to follow you on instagram but it just says “requested”. Not sure what that means since I’m not an Instagram pro but… 🙂

The Fancy Mystery Boxes are my favorite and the best thing I got was the Ellie black bags.
I’m think my favorite thing is on the way! I’m anxiously waiting for this months bag in SocialBliss!!! (I hoping for navy- I have never had a navy purse either!)
Best thing I have ever got was about half of the stuff in the Wantable Intimate Boxes. I have gotten 2 boxes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE several of the items.
Because I use it every day I’d say from either birchbox or Ipsy the Be A Bombshell eyeliner

The best thing I’ve gotten was the truffle-flavored Pipcorn that came in PopSugar. I love anything truffle-flavored so it was such a treat to be introduced to the popcorn.
Oddly enough, the double ended blue/gold eyeliner from Smashbox that came in the Resort Popsugar box is my favorite. It had already become a staple of mine and it’s not even summer yet when it will be perfect.

My first mystery box was a small women’s one before they updated the sizes. So I ordered again and got the large women’s box. I got the mint TKO watch, scarf, necklace and sunshield phone accessory set. I am so happy with it! Seems like there are lots of variations of content too.

The best thing(s) I’ve received in a sub box is hair products. I’m a bit vain about my hair so anything that makes my hair look and feel better makes me happy. I know, weird but there it is. Second would be awesome lip glosses, which I adore.

I’ve only had one box from a discontinued company and I wasn’t too impressed with the stuff in it. Getting the citrus lane box tomorrow so hopefully it will be better!
This is hard but for value, practicality and fun the best things I got were two great coats from the ModCloth surprise boxes. I just wish it had stayed cold enough for me to wear them once before next fall.

I never buy nail polish for myself so I always appreciate getting them in boxes. This week I got the gold one from Birchbox. Even though I really wanted the mint one it’s something new in my line up of mostly reds and purples.
It’s way too hard for me to pick one favorite! I love the Beauty Detector leave-in conditioner and detangler I got from birchbox though. I’ve re-ordered three times since I received the sample!

I have never splurged on a muster box for myself, I have gotten Bluum boxes in the pas, but kept getting the same types of items every month. I did get a snuggly that my son sleeps with every night, so I guess I did get something good!!

I had kinda a bum small fancy box. But my favorite box I ever got has to be a klutchclub box I recently got. Or maybe the mod cloth boxes.

The best thing I ever got in a subscription box was nail polish!! There’s nothing I (or my three girls) love better than free nail polish!!
I’m new to subscription boxes so I haven’t received anything I’ve absolutely loved yet. My daughter however is in love with the cases she gets from Phone Case of the Month.
I would have to say the books that come every month with my son’s Surprise Ride boxes. They are perfect for him to read by himself and they always go along very well with the theme of the box.

My favorite of all time was the black big floppy hat from last Mays (?) Popsugar box. I wear it with a black maxi and huge sunglasses and it makes me feel like a celeb lolol. Second would be Klorane Dry Shampoo from BB…seriously Im addicted, I buy a bottle before the next one is out for fear of running out during the shipping process
I’d have to say the best thing I’ve gotten was the Buxom mascara that PopSugar sent last year (April I think?)… I LOVE this mascara and haven’t been able to go back to using anything else.
This sounds dumb, but in one of the Love with Food boxes I got olives. They were in aluminum type packaging and it was lovely.
Not recently, but I remember as a kid I loved whenever goodie bags had those super high bouncy balls. Or those little things where it looks like a diaphragm, but you turn it inside out and lay it on a tabletop or floor and it suddenly pops up when it turns right side in again. Apparently I just like things that pop and bounce.

I just got a new running belt in my Stridebox this month. Hands down probably the best thing I’ve ever gotten.
It may sound silly, but the elephant ring holder in the PopSugar box is one of my favorite things from a box. I had been eyeing them for months on Bauble Bar but never bought one. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted. PopSugar decided for me and my husband and I both use it every day.
I tend to be a huge fan of Julep mystery boxes!
I ordered a Fancy mystery box back before they changed to different sizes and I got the gorgeous black clutch! Love it.
This goes way back to childhood but the best thing I ever got in a grab bag was a sand art game. It was amazing and by far the most coveted prize at my Dad’s company picnic!
The best item I ever got in a subscription box was a Birchbox item: Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser – I’ve never felt more pampered! It left my skin soooo soft, I couldn’t believe I got such a luxury item in my box – if it was the only thing in there I would have been happy!
I’m pretty new to the whole subscription box scene so I don’t know that I have ever got anything really all that great, to be honest! I did score a Woot! pets Bag of Crap though… oh, and of course! Grab bag t-shirts! I’m a sucker for those. My favorite from a grab bag has angry looking fruits and vegetables with the text reading ‘Eat more meat!’

I haven’t gotten a ton of great things yet from boxes imo, but I’ll also go with Modcloth – my two clothing items were a bust, but I got a really cute pair of boots that are totally comfortable.
Either the first brokedown scarf in popsugar or the Clark’s botanicals marine cream in birchbox.
Oh gosh. Too many things. I love the BaB quad in Bora Bora from Ipsy. Also the Chella Highlighter.
Popsugar wise, many jewelry items. The Dec bracelet was right up my alley. The scarf from April.
I’ve also tried Glossy and Yuzen, loved them both but couldn’t justify the cost. Glossy was a groupon sub and I would do it again for the price.
I’ve only ordered three mystery boxes. One from Julep – very disappointed when it ended up being more body oil and things of the like and less nail polish. And two from Fancy – the Men’s and Women’s – both of which I found to be nice, but not thrilling. I would say I have two favorite things from subscription boxes – both from Julep. The glitter polish removing kit, and the plie wand that I’m already anticipating in next months box.
I’ve only gotten kids and food subscription boxes. The best item is probably a little blanket/stuffed animal lovey from a Bluum box.
I have never gotten a mystery box or grab bag, but get lots of sub boxes. Have gotten lots of things that I really like, and have ending buying many products that I got in a box. But, nothing really *wow* yet….Thanks for the giveaway!

My fave thing is the bags we get from ipsy… if I don’t love a bag it goes to the teens at our abuse shelter… so I feel like I have to love it… to keep it… but it makes me smile to send them a gift at Christmas that I hope they will like…

I think my fav thing from sub boxes so far is the kai fragrance oil (I got it in popsugar last year, but I signed up for fab fit fun so I could get another one, lol!) It smells so nice. I love florals.
But honestly, I mostly like food boxes.
I just recently got Big Sexy Hair Root Pump spray. I use a lot of their products. Ut I had never heard of this produt but when I received it in my ipsy bag & used it I totally fell in love! Recently I bought the glossybox, and it was awesome!!!! The best thing i received was a eye liner that literally looks like a marker and its so easy to put on, i love it!!!!
I have never had a subscription box before, but I have been looking at your blog posts to see which ones I would like. I am considering getting the Conscious Box because I saw a living social deal on it. I would love to try a subscription box soon.
I think the best thing I’ve ever received would be a gorgeous bracelet from alex & ani, what made it my favorite was that my mom hinted around several times over several months so I knew how much she liked it I decided to skip my subscription box and order it for her, well I should have guessed with my luck, they were totally sold out and making matters worse customer service wasn’t even certain rather or not it would even be back in stock. Amazingly I couldn’t believe my good luck for once in my life, I actually received the exact bracelet in my box a few weeks later. I’m still in shock, lol. AND not to mention how much it made mom happy.

I’ve only had one subscription box before. It was a Mercobox (shop local type of thing). There were some yummy protein powder and bar samples. Guess I need to get with it on subscription boxes!!
I’ve not done too many subscription boxes, but I did once get a box gifted to me from an acquaintance after having a baby. It was a Glossy Box, and it was the most fabulous mail ever- I had no idea it was coming!

I absolutely love the Nest Birchwood Pine candle from the Neiman Marcus Popsugar Box. It may be the only thing from any sub box that I use (completely) and re-buy
