~It’s Monday already? Boo! Luckily it’s not a normal Monday around here. L’s on Spring Break so we got to sleep in a bit. Also, B is off today, but he’s hoping to go check out a car on the other side of the state he has his eye on (note – ONE car, not two) to restore so he may or may not be around. I did a recap of our weekend yesterday, but if you missed it, L got to hang with Nana & Papa on Friday night and Saturday while WB was forced to hang with B and I. And yesterday we saw dinosaurs and spent the afternoon in the city enjoying the sunshine. Â All in all, an awesome weekend.

~Have I mentioned how amazing B is lately? Â Because listen, he’s totally on my good side right now. Â He’s been taking the boys out to breakfast every Sunday morning so I can get a little extra time to sleep, take a long hot shower or whatever, which is totally fabulous. Â And then last night he washed and vacuumed my car. Â He did his car too, but mine was a complete disaster area. Â It was so bad that if I dropped something I was afraid to stick my hand under the seat for fear of what I would find. Â But he cleaned it top to bottom and it looks brand new. Â I love that man.
~Let’s see, what boxes are coming this week? Â I should be getting Fabletics, PopSugar (the April box for sure and *maybe* the Resort Box, but it hasn’t seemed to start it’s journey to me yet so we’ll see), Fancy Food Box (and hopefully my Large Mystery Box, however, that hasn’t shipped yet), Artistry Gift Wrap and lots more I can’t remember right now.
~Did anyone see Plated on Shark Tank? Â I am so obsessed with that show. Â I wonder how many companies who don’t end up getting a deal (Plated got a deal by the way) still do amazing because of their appearance on Shark Tank? Â I know I pretty much google every company that appears on the show and I am sure I am not alone. Â Just hearing all these people sound so excited and passionate about their ideas gets me all into the stuff!
~If you are waiting on something from me in the mail, I SWEAR it’s coming. Â Seriously, if I promised you nail polish or if you are waiting on a prize or whatever, I have not forgotten. It’s all headed out this week! Â Also, I the winner of the Bracket Challenge will be all sorted out tomorrow! Â I am planning a prize for the winner and one for the biggest loser. Â LOL. Â And a few smaller random ones in between there!
~My obsession with this Anthropologie duvet shows no signs of letting up, so I must know, Â are there any anthro outlets around? Â Do they ever have a Friends and Family sale? Â Basically, is there any chance I am going to be able to score a deal this? Â Because when I close my eyes at night, I see this duvet. Â #musthave #ineed
~And finally, you all and your essential oil tips and Florida panhandle recommendations rule! Â I am so excited about both of these things and can’t wait see how these oils work. Â And as for the Florida vacation house rental, how far in advance does one need to book?

i’m sure there are parts of the beach that get nuts but nothing gross like pcb. and also, definitely make sure you get your tickets super early. i don’t ever bother to go home in the spring, too $$$.

My cousin has rentals in destin, but there condos. Great place. Yes lots of people rent yr in advance if they can depending on popularity of when they go

The web i sent for anthro outlets locator lists all oulet malls in all states REGARDLESS IF THEY HAD ANTHRO OR NOT so sorry it was very misleading. Found out as i scrolled down and read stores listed. This same page on xfinity showed ebates for anthro free to join, later sent link.

I feel the same way about Shark Tank. I was telling my mom about this awesome new surfing style elliptical in my gym and she’s convinced she saw it on Shark Tank, so there is another possible winner.

B sounds like a total keeper. Random: Yesterday I found my journal from when my husband was deployed and one entry said how much I missed him.. because I hated shoveling all the snow. It’s so nice to have someone to take care of those less-fun tasks! I can’t decide what to do about Golden Tote. I really want the sailboat sweater, but it looks from their FB page like it’s only in the $149 tote, and I don’t know that I want anything else that much.. Still deciding, though I need to act fast! Still no tracking for either of my PS boxes! Boo! And the Anthro duvet is BEAUTIFUL. I know they eventually have really good sales, but only if the item hasn’t sold out.. So that’s the risk you’d take!
Maybe you can buy the sailboat later. Fingers crossed!!!

I did see plated. I was a little worried there for a minute but they pulled it through. I need to set the Tivo for it so I don’t miss it each week. I would think most things get a boost just from being on and then they can say as seen on shark tank too. LOL I wonder who picks the companies for the show? I want to be on that team who looks over everything and decides who gets a chance. I wonder if the sharks have some of their people on that team. Hmmm
That duvet is gorgeous. We still use the comforter we got as a wedding gift almost 10yrs ago so it might be time for an upgrade. LOL

One year for spring break we flew in and out of Pensacola and stayed 1/2 the time over in Gulf Shores in Alabama. It was a fun time 🙂 Granted this was 20+ years ago (I think I was 11 or 12…). But I think that vacation sounds like fun!

I’m pretty sure there are no Antro outlets, they do have a good sale section that sometimes goes an extra % off, but I haven’t seen much bedding though. I know for sure they do 25% off right after xmas for sale items. Also, if you sign up for their email program you get a coupon for 15% (I think it’s 15%…) off in your birthday month, which is probably your best bet for getting a deal on the duvet 🙂
I doubt that bedding will ever go on sale. But I so want it too…
My Fabletics is coming today! And I loved seeing Plated on Shark Tank but I wish they did a better job explaining who could use their service. And I always google the businesses to see if their stuff is sold around me 🙂
I wish they would have explained that it’s not just your normal make at home meals. They are gourmet!
I live in the southern Alabama and get to sneak away to the beach often. Pensacola,fl and gulf shores,al are both good places for kids, have reasonably priced hotels at least for the beach. I wouldn’t take kids to Panama City, it’s more of a wild spring break. We have also rented a beautiful beachhome in Destin. It had twin master bedrooms, 3 aditional bedrooms with Queen or King beds. The basement was remodeled for kids and housed 2 queen beds, and 2 sets of bunkbeds and a huge bathroom. Grills and it’s own pool plus a one block walk to the beach made this home perfect. It was truly the nicest beach house I have every seen. In renting homes to go skiing and other beach homes,I have found they usually look as if they were furnished grandmas old furniture.
There is outlet shopping very close to both Destin and Gulfshores. Last but not least, the high today is 75 and I have on shorts and flipflops.
It’s about 50 here and I am acting like it’s hot out 😉
So I have two questions for you since you receive both. Would you give Stitch fix up for Golden Tote since it is a cheaper option and you receive more. I know Stitch Fix is more higher end brands but just thought I would get your opinion. Second is Fabletics a good subscription for someone who likes to work out and wants to build a cute wardrobe to work out in?

Now this is a hard one. I probably wouldn’t give up Stitch Fix because it’s not as much of a commitment. If I really liked the options that GT had for the month I might skip Stitch Fix that month. But I like that you don’t have to keep everything (or anything with ST).
And yes! I think so. You get that first outfit half off, so it’s a great way to see if you like the stuff!
I am worried about Plated. I hope they can maintain their quality with the big surge. Got an email from them today saying they will try to fill their orders and not run out. I am a regular, and now I feel like I will need to always order way ahead or they are going to sell out. I hope they don’t go cheap on their supplies in order to fill their demand.
I think they will do okay. I will just have to schedule in advance even farther!
We have an Anthropologie in Ann Arbor. It is located in a new shopping center called Arbor Hills Crossing. They also have Sur La Table, Lululemon, Madewell, The North Face, among others.
Where is that mall? We have a regular one in Birmingham and one at Somerset, but I wanted to find an outlet. I don’t even now if they exist???
I got an anthro quilt 2 years ago during their July 4th sale. It was like $90 for a queen size comforter, it’s purple with knots made of jersey material. I love it, sadly it’s falling apart. So I wouldn’t invest too much money into it.
