LUSH!

I posted my first round of LUSH reviews a few weeks ago and now I am back with Round Two! Here is what I tried this time:

~Fun Tin ($24.95): At the recommendation of pretty much everyone, I picked up “Fun” for the boys. It’s a HUGE hit. And it makes for an expensive bath because I can’t get L out before the entire FUN roll is done. They love that it turns the bath water, their bodies, the bubbles, etc. color. I seriously don’t think they have ever been cleaner! There have been some long baths lately! I don’t really get the cookie cutters that came with this though. It doesn’t really cut well once it’s wet. But I will use those for something else. I’d buy these again.

~Ocean Salt ($21.95 – $35.95): I don’t think I could love this any more than I already do. It smells amazing (which is saying something because I am not a huge fan of most of their scents) and is this amazing creamy, but still salty, texture. I have used it on my face and it didn’t bother my skin, but I don’t think it’s the best cleanser for me that they have. I like it way better as a body scrub. I am trying to limit my usage of this to twice a week because it is too expensive to use every day, but I wish I could use daily.

~Dark Angels Cleanser ($12.95 – $31.95): This is the grossest cleanser I have ever seen. No really, it smells awful, it’s super messy and umm, I love it! It makes my skin feel incredible and so so so soft. But seriously, it’s gross. It has black sugar and charcoal and mud in it. All that said, I highly recommend trying it.

~Enzymion Moisturizer ($39.95): I am very happy with this moisturizer, but I am not 100% sure it’s my holy grail one. I need to use it for another four weeks or so to see what real results I can. I actually feel like my skin is already brighter, but I don’t know it it’s from this or from the cleanser? If you try this, remember that you only need a little bit. I always scoop out way too much.

~Each Peach Massage Bar ($10.95): I like, but I don’t know if I love. I do feel like this is going to last forever though. I have been using it for like two weeks have haven’t made a dent in it! It for sure moisturizes and leaves my skin soft and smelling good. It’s a switch from regular lotion though and I think that will just take some getting used too.

~Cupcake Fresh Mask ($6.95): Don’t let the name fool you, it doesn’t smell like cupcakes. It smells good, but not like cupcakes. LOL!  I feel like this too helps to calm my skin down which is something I totally need.  And it gives you that glowiness after you rinse it off. I still liked the Ayesha Mask better though.  I think I will pick up the Brazened Honey one next because I have a friend who cannot stop raving about it.

~LUSH Retread ($29.95): LOVE this! I had tried the American Cream one last time and wasn’t a huge fan of it.  This blows it out of the water though.  This is another one that goes  a long way. I have been alternating this with the hair repair kit thing that came in the Allure Beauty Box the past few days and I am amazed at how soft my hair is.

Other than the Brazened Honey Fresh Mask, I am not 100% sure what is next on my LUSH list!  Maybe a Dusting Powder?  And I am still trying to decide on a Shower Smoothie scent!  Any new recommendations?  Any LUSH products you have tried lately and loved?  I want to hear about it!

you are making me want to go to lush right now and buy a bunch of products! NOT GOOD!! 🙂

    1. Jennifer

      Just go!!!

  2. Teena

Your boys seem to be around the same age as mine so I think I’ll try the fun tin. However how is it on their skin because my boys skin is sensitive that’s why I have only used AVON bath time fun products because their hyperallergic (misspelled).

    1. Jennifer

My boys don’t have sensitive skin, so I can’t really speak to that? They would be able to tell you at the store I would think?

  3. Angie Nelson

I so need to go on a shopping spree over there. I have seen so many raving reviews and crazy, need-to-try-it-for-yourself stuff.

    1. Jennifer

Yes! I was so hesitant at first and now I can’t stop@

  4. I am interesting in hearing about the bronze dusting powder. The allure of lush is mostly lost on me. I don’t like bar soap or anything that looks like it. It’s just not my thing. And I’m not a huge mask user, etc.

    1. Jennifer

Much to my surprise, they have tons of non-bar soap stuff!

      1. brandy

i dunno. diana went the other day and she was going to get shower bombs and she didn’t really find anything much for us non bath people. i know people are super into it but i guess i am not!!

        1. allison

I wish they made shower bombs! 🙁

          1. Jennifer

            I hear they used too!

  5. Lynsey

I love the FUN tin and it makes the FUN come out way cheaper that way I cant wait to grab it when we finish the rolls we have. Yea once its wet you cant use the cutters. OH and a whole roll I cut mine into 5 pieces and usually get him pick a few color pieces so its not to expensive.

I bought the Catastrophe Cosmetic mask Monday and its awesome my favorite so far! I have the Honey on my list to try next.

I love the Dream Steam you put it in a sink full of hot water and let it steam your face and its amazing I love the Tea Tree Toner Tab too!!!

I love your LUSH posts keep them you get me to try new things (I’m gonna buy Dark Angels today after work) 🙂

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, the Dream Steam sounds great! I cannot wait to hear what you think of Dark Angels. It’s so so gross.

  6. Cheryl

The Sacred Truth is a great mask for hydrating and brightening, as long as you’re not grossed out by the egg in the ingredients!

    1. Jennifer

That wouldn’t bother me! I will put it on my list!

  7. Allison

I recently ordered the Each Peach bar online……haven’t gotten it yet. Does it smell peachy? I love Butterball, if you’re ever looking for a bath bomb. It smells good, is moisturizing, but does leave a residue in the tub.

    1. Jennifer

I might have to pick that up for B!

I actually don’t think it smells peachy!

      1. allison

        Thanks!

  8. Brandy

I got one of the shampoo bars last week and I am in love! My hair is so soft and clean feeling from it!
I’m interested in trying their solid conditioner too.

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, me too! I need to put that on my list too.

  9. Melissa M

Minty Juleps lip scrub! smells amazing and really works! oh and the directions say to lick it off when youre done…cant beat that!

    1. Jennifer

I have heard their lip scrubs are great! I will put it in my list!

  10. Jillian

I just went and bought a solid conditioner and I’m in love! Also I recommend the silky underwear powder, it’s great too. I also would recommend getting a sample of R&B it’s a leave in conditioner and I’m obsessed with it too. So obsessed with all things lush!

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, I so want to try it. Is there only one kind of the solid conditioner?

      1. Jillian

There are two solid ones. I got the green one it I don’t remember the name, and there is on called Big and it’s solid but sold like their soap so they slice it up for you. I got a sample of that one but haven’t used it yet.

  11. Katie

I have been meaning to come over and see if you’ve thought about trying the lip scrub from Lush. I really like it, just use a light hand when you first use it. I also don’t eat mine after using it because it’s like then I’d be eating the dead skin cells I just took off but it does work amazing! I prefer the popcorn flavor.

    1. Jennifer

I have not! I thought about it yesterday, but never got it! I don’t think I would want to eat it either!

  12. Jordyn

    Ohh so many recemondations.

Lip scrubs, for winter they are a life saver.

Shower Jellys, Whoosh is a great scent and your boys would like them too, also one of the more affordable Lush products.

My skin routine is Celestial Mostiurizer daily, with breath of fresh air toner. And Oatifix mask when I need one.

Also never be shy to ask for a sample or two of something you want to try, they are amazing about that.

    1. Jennifer

I tried Whoosh the first time and I LOVED the scent, but it’s so messy. I feel like I am dropping it all down the drain. Any tips on that??
