My Julep Perfect 10 Mystery Boxes arrived over the weekend I was super excited to see what was inside. I couldn’t decide which one to order, so I ordered two. I picked up Box #1 ($40) and Box #6 ($10)! I was hoping I wouldn’t get a ton of polish
If you aren’t familiar, Julep is a monthly nail polish subscription service. They have recently switched a few things up and are now offering a “My Maven” box for $24.99/month which contains $40+ worth of product and polish or “Maven Luxe” for $39.99/month which contains $60+ of prestige products. Both boxes are fully customizable and you have the option to switch between tiers.
Perfect 10 Mystery Box #1
I’ll start with Box #1 since it was the one I knew I had to have! It was $40 and was described as “Tips in top shape”. The site indicated that: “Our glittery friend Taryn (It Girl) is in this box. Tote her around (with some other surprises) in your new minty green bag.” Other than that, I didn’t know what to expect.
Have you ever seen such a fancy box from Julep? I opened the box and couldn’t believe it. They are so pretty and have a magnetic type closure. They will be making perfect gift boxes for down the road.
Great first look! This box was totally packed full of products! The Julep Perfect 10 Mystery Box didn’t have an information card, but the following products were included:
~Freedom Polymer Topcoat ($14.40): I was pretty excited to see this in here because I can always use more topcoat. I have trouble remembering to use it so the more places I can keep them to help remind me, the better!
~Rock Star Hand Creme ($16): Love this! It’s not greasy, smells good and makes my hands nice and soft.
~Glycolic Hand Scrub ($18.40): I don’t use hand scrubs a lot in the summer, but I’ll save this for the fall and winter when I know I will be needing it. Although, I am kind of wondering how this would work on my feet. Has anyone tried that?
~Moisture Mask Trio ($16): These came in a Julep Maven box a while ago and they were a big hit with me. I like the foot mask the best (probably because I can still do other stuff while I am using it), but I will use them all.
~It Girl – Lizanne ($11.20): Lizanne is a sea green shimmer and is totally gorgeous. I need to check and see if I already have this one to not. If so I will trade it or give it to a friend. If not, well that’s fabulous! Either way I think this is going on my toes next.
~It Girl – Diane ($11.20): Diane is a dark forest green creme. It’s super dark, but not in a bad way. It’s more of a winter color for me though.
~It Girl – Taryn ($11.20): Gorgeous color! Taryn is a deep sea teal holographic glitter. I received this one in a previous mystery box, but I knew it would make a great gift so I went ahead and picked this box anyway.
~The Bag: The mint bag is cute, however, I was expecting it to be a little thicker than it is. Still it will make a good bag to throw into my giant purse to keep things organized.
All totaled I came up with a value of $98.40 for the Julep Perfect 10 Mystery Box #1. I thought it was well worth my $40 and got a ton of great goodies! Some for me and some I can gift!
Perfect 10 Mystery Box #6
I also decided to go for Julep Perfect 10 Mystery Box Box #6 because of the pedicure items it in. The description said “This box was made for walkin’” and “With Mint Condition Pedi Crème and toe separators in each box, this is your best pick for a successful sandal season”. And at $15, the price was totally right.
This Mystery Box also came in a fancy gift box. I think the actual boxes were what surprised me the most about these Perfect 10 boxes!
This box was much less full than my other mystery box, but it was also $15 as opposed to $40, so I suppose that is to be expected. Again, it did not have an information card (none of the Julep Mystery Boxes ever do), but contained the following items:
~Mint Condition Pedi Creme ($14): I like Julep’s pedi creme so this box was a no brainer. I figured even if I didn’t end up with much else that I loved, it would be worth it for the creme.
~Toe Separators: Nothing too exciting, but fairly expected in a pedi themed box.
~Foot File ($4.20): I have a Julep one of these and it’s probably time for a replacement. It works well and it’s one of those things I never quite remember to buy on my own.
~Classic With A Twist – Madison ($11.20): Madison is a tropical coral creme. I have this shade already so I will be putting it in the gift pile.
All totaled I came up with a value of $29.40 for the Julep Perfect Mystery Box #6. I didn’t love this one quite as much as I loved the first one, but I totally felt like it was worth my $15!
These Perfect 10 Julep Mystery Boxes are now sold out, however, they are currently offering two “Summer Break Mystery Box” options for $24.99 each which you can check out here and here.
