The Bride Box, who sent me this box to arrive, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides!  It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.

I always try to guess what The Bride Box is going to do and sometimes I am close and sometimes not so much!

The Information Cards

The June 2014 The Bride Box theme was “Here Comes The Bride” and included the following items:

~Here Comes The Bride Tote ($22): You could use this as a tote on your wedding day and then take it along with you on your honeymoon as your beach tote!

~Sweet Mae Designs “I Do” Banner ($7): I love having banners up in my house and I also think, yeah, I could make that.  But then I look at them more closely and realize that, no, I could NOT make that!  This etsy shop has lots of fun banners from weddings to babies to graduations.

~Pink Champagne Paper Bridesmaid Card ($4): How cute is this?  I love the card itself, but I love that pink glitter envelope even more.

~Pinktastik Bride Button ($0.45): I believe that it is an unwritten law that all members of a bachelorette party must identify themselves in some way or they are not allowed to attend.  A button is probably the least offensive way, but there are others ;).

~Tips / Notes: The Bride Box has been including tip sheets in their boxes lately which I think are a nice addition.  This month’s tips are about putting together a time line for your day and also about making sure you do things your way on your day!

All totaled I came up with a value of about $34 for the June 2014 The Bride Box.  Not the most valuable box ever, but everything as very thoughtful and could be used by the bride on her day!

I ordered this for a relative that is getting married in the fall. I was so excited for her to get it after seeing so many great reviews and cute things in each months box. I was pretty disappointed in this one. The bride-to-be even said that she was surprised that they charged me for it, since it contained so much advertisements. She did not receive the button and banner either, just the tote and some envelopes. I cancelled right away, and sent them an email, they have not responded. (I actually had to email Escape on Saturday, and they responded in 5 mins, or maybe less!). Anyway, this box may be better suited for brides who haven’t started any of their planning yet. It’s a cute idea for sure, just this month left a little to be desired. Happy Monday!

I hope you hear back from them! And I hope you get the missing items!

        Hi Jenn & Jodi,

Just saw this thread or we would have replied sooner. We reply within 24-48 hours of every email we receive unless on a holiday or weekend. We are so sorry that you were disappointed in your box, but we didn’t receive any emails about missing items. We hold back a few extra items each month just in case someone’s box gets lost or an item is damaged. If your bride has missing items we would love to replace these items for her. We also do not currently include advertising in the box unless there is a special case from one of our featured vendors. If you have any questions or concerns please email us at info@thebridebox.com and we will be happy to take care of them for you.

        Thank you!!

I love the glittery envelope. I can see myself buying this for my sister if she ever marries. Unfortunately I am at the age now where I know more people divorcing than marrying.

  3. Looks like one of the best ones so far although not the best value – the tote is a cute idea and the i do banner is good for photo ops 🙂
