SundaySentiments

You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!

~So much to report here! First of all, B is home! Yay! We took it easy yesterday and just relaxed and got BBQ for dinner (OMG so good). Did I mention that it was good? Yum. Today we grocery shopped and picked up a new water table. The one we had was a half water / half sand table and it ended up cracking apart. And of course the sides don’t stand on their own. Anyway, this new one is much cooler and won’t allow for the constant mixing of sand and water (which, while fun, is a pain to clean up). L went back up-north and appears to be playing giant Jenga? LOL! He loves it up there and I swear he’d stay up there all summer if I let him.

Weekend Fun

~The new season of Naked & Afraid starts tonight!  Oh how I love that show.  So much awkward nudity.  I wonder if they have ever considered pairing two females or two males together to see how the dynamic of the show would change?  And of course Big Brother is on tonight as well.  This season is already my favorite one in a long time.

~Some people were asking about the new changes on the 2014/2015 Erin Condren Life Planners were so I thought I’d share my thoughts.  First of all the covers are now interchangeable.  They snap on and off and you can buy as many additional ones as you want.  I am thinking about changing them up seasonally and also did one with my name and then one with my blog name.  You could also do a work cover and a fun cover.  Whatever you want.  Totally love this idea and I haven’t had any trouble switching mine out.  Another change is that they have added a few new covers (like the “Scales” one I have below).  And the other big thing I have noticed is that the new Life Planner one has a “Perpetual Calendar and Contacts” booklet so that you don’t have to write down everyone’s birthdays year after year if you don’t want too.  You can just save the booklet!  Oh and they have changed the back cover.  It used to have a calendar, but they now are sheets in the planner so you don’t cover that stuff if you attach a notepad to the back cover.  It’s the interchangeable covers I am loving most though!  And the gold coil (I got the Gold Edition planner).  So worth it.

My “Scales” Kelly Green Planner

~While roaming around Target today I scored a super cool Threshold Lantern on clearance.  It wasn’t tagged, but I am pretty sure it was 70% off because I saw a smaller lanterns just like it (but not on sale) that were $29.  This had to be at least $40 (I paid $11.98).  No idea what I am going to do with it, but I LOVE it and could not pass it up.  II am going to try and score another one at a different Target. Fingers crossed.

Unmarked Target Clearance Find

~I am hoping that the “Yes To” website updates with the Yes To Coconuts line soon because I picked up the $40 voucher today on Plum District (it was good for $40 on the Yes To website).  I also bought a voucher for a a Turkish Wrap / Beach Towel which I can’t wait to see in person.

~And finally, why didn’t anyone tell me that Walmart has design your own mason jar cups??  You can buy a four pack of the jars (they had a few sizes), sippy top lids or lids with a hole for straws and then of course you can buy the straws themselves.  Where have I been?  Not Walmart obviously!

Create your own mason jar mugs at Walmart!

That’s about it from here tonight! How was your weekend?
