It’s time for my monthly Best of the Boxes post! These are my favorite items (although I do try and pick from a variety of items) from subscription boxes I received in June 2014 (well reviews I posted from 6/1 – 6/30 otherwise it gets too confusing)! I usually try and just pick ten items, but there were so many great ones this month I did eleven. I honestly probably could have done 20 favorite this month!
1. Pink Knockaround Sunglasses (Hazel Lane): Love. These. I am writing this post outside and am wearing these sunglasses as I type. They are fun without being too crazy. And they are also inexpensive so you don’t feel awful if you drop them or lose them. I already want more colors!
2. Museum Nail Nail Polish Wraps (Hammock Pack): I haven’t used these yet, but I think they are so cool. So different than any other nap wraps I have seen that’s for sure.
3. tart Cheek Stain (Blushing Bride) (BOXYCHARM): Such a gorgeous color. Cheek stains like this are so easy to use and easy to travel with that they are a total must have.
4. The Big Honey Hunt Book (Googaro): Pretty sure I liked this book more than the kids did, but that’s okay. The Bernstein Bears are the best.
5. Old Whaling Company Roll On Perfume (Dottiebox Mini): It was a hard debate between this from Dottiebox and the sea salt spray I received. The perfume won and I am now on a mission to find MORE of the scents from this line to smell.
6. Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner (Beauty Box 5): I only received a small sample of this, but I liked it enough that I went out and bought the full sized ones.
7. Turkish T Mykonos Breeze Towel (PopSugar): I use this towel daily and it has inspired additional purchases from the turkish-t line as well. I feel like the turkish-t hand towels make my bathroom look much fancier than normal towels.
8. Sachajuan Ocean Mist (PopSugar Summer): I feel like this is the summer of sea salt spray with all the subscription boxes and that is fine by me. I love them all, but I think this one is my favorite. So far.
9. American Flag Wine Tote from tote + able (Hamptons Lane): Way easier to tote around than a full bottle of wine. Plus maybe someone will think it’s water.
10. Atelier Cologne Cédrat Enivrant Cologne Absolue (Birchbox Modern Mermaid): This scent is totally incredible. Figure out where they have this and go smell it! Seriously.
11. Fred Bendy (Blind Surprise): How could I not include this guy? A giant straw for your wine? What’s not to like?

I’ve been looking everywhere for the Organix Coconut Water line, but it seems like nobody around me is stocking it yet 🙁 I really want to try it, Organix generally is one of my more favorite haircaire/body wash brands. I was really sad when I stopped being able to find their coconut milk leave-in anywhere, but I’m using their cherry blossom smoothing cream atm and it’s not bad.
All that is to say… glad to hear you liked it, gives me reason to keep looking!

Actually, I’ve just seen the Organix line in general there, not sure about Coconut Water one. Try Amazon maybe?

We probably do somewhere… I can picture like, 8 CVS locations around town but I’m not sure about Walgreen’s, haha. They carry the coconut water?

I loved the Old Whaling Company lemon perfume. I also appreciated the turkish towel and tarte blushing bride stain. My new find was the DAVINES Love Conditioner – really helped!
I got the Fresh Lemon perfume in my Dottiebox and it is amazing!
Here are my favorites:
1. 3 Girls Holistic Calming Mist from Escape Monthly Las Vegas edition – I’ve been using this a lot.
2.Iadora Charcoal Body Scrub from Escape Monthly Las Vegas edition – I used it twice and love it.
3. Maya Water Facial Mist energizing Norwegian thermal spa water organic goji – This came in a Beauty Bar/Sample Society mystery box. It’s a perfect size for my purse and feels wonderful on hot days.
4.CellCeuticals Extreme Defense Anti-Cell Damage Skin Treatment from Beauty DNA. It is reducing the rosacea redness in my face.
5. Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Seasilk Oil Gel from Blush. It is taming the frizz in my hair. It is free of parabens and sulfates which irritates my skin. Anything that is paraben-free and sulfate-free is a win for me.
My husband picks Toffee from Escape Monthly Las Vegas edition.
My older son picks all Transformer items from Loot Crate.
My younger son picks Kiwi Crate. His second pick is the shredded paper packaging which we use to make more paper from the Kiwi Crate Earth box edition.
The dogs love BarkBox.
That CellCeuticals sounds great! I need to check out that line.
Love the Vasanti Lighten Up Facial Rejuvenator from Birchbox. Really liked the Design Essentials Mousse from BB5–definitely made my hair more wavy! And, um, liked the lingerie I got in Fantasy Box!
LOVE that Vasanti stuff. That reminds me that I want to order some.
I knew I was forgetting something–my daughter loves the Babytime by Episencial Peaceful Bubbles bubble bath from Citrus Lane–we just got a big bottle from Amazon!

Those glasses are so cute!! I need those in a few colors. It makes me want Hazel Lane. Maybe I should try to understand cheek stains before swapping mine away from the summer box. And I have looooved all the Sachajuan products from PS!! June was an awesome box month!!

I got tipsy! I feel very unsure when it comes to blushes and things like that, but I suppose I could give it a chance!
I really like the wine tote but feel sort of awkward about using the American flag design to drink my wine! Although I did use the free Enfamil collapsible water bottle I got in my hospital kit when I had my baby last year to hold bottle of wine. So who am I to be all righteous ?? LOL. PS–I think people did think it was water!!
