I have been doing some serious mailbox stalking for this one and today was the day! My July 2014 Hammock Pack arrived!

If you aren’t familiar with them, Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail and took only a few days to arrive.  I think they shipped on the 20th or 21st and I got it about 3 days later.

I have been stalking the Hammock Pack Facebook and Instagram page like a crazy lady for spoilers.  I just couldn’t wait to see what they did this month!

The Information Card

The July 2014 Hammock Pack destination is “Brooklyn” and includes the following goodies you’d find at local markets throughout the city:

~Edible Brooklyn Summer Issue ($5): They were right, I was hungry after checking this magazine out.  And it really makes me want to visit and check out all the places they talked about in here.

~Hartland Brooklyn Treat Pack Tattoos ($5): I was *this close* to putting one of these on when I opened the box today but I didn’t want all the kids who were here this afternoon (#partyatmyhouse) to be jealous.  They are so cute though!  Perfect for summer.

~Whimsy & Spice Honey Lavender Shortbread ($8): I don’t love these, but they also aren’t awful.  They are different for sure.  I’d love to check out (and by check out I mean try) some of the other things they offer!

~SoapWalla Soap Bar (Citrus Grove) ($10): This company was started out of a small NYC apartment and is perfect for sensitive skin.  It smells great and I am for sure going to use this one and not let B take it.

~Baggu 3D Zip Bag ($8): I got a fox one of these a month or two ago and now I have the polka dot one!  Both are cute and work awesome for snacks, kids toiletries, etc.

All totaled I came up with a value of $36 for the July 2014 Hammock Pack.  I am really liking this box and love the small businesses they support and all the unique finds they come up with!  This is another subscription I am keeping around for a while!

Good for them for using Edible Brooklyn. I sometimes receive a free copy of the local Edible edition which has all kinds of wonderful information. I didn’t know Baggu is located in Brooklyn. This is a wonderful box.
