First Look

I always say it, but while I am not in the wedding planning process, I love seeing what’s out there and have always been able to find a home for my The Bride Box items.  Some I keep because they will work for me and some I pass along to a friend or two who is planning a wedding.

The Information Card

The July 2014 The Bride Box theme was “Shabby Chic Wedding” and included the following items:

~Mrs. Why Knot ($22): This is billed as a perfect little gift for your bridesmaids or something sweet to wear on your big day.  I think it works for everyone, no occasion needed!  It’s in the small side though, so if your wrists aren’t super tiny it might not fit.

~Upcycled Whimsies (~$10): I totally just guessed on the price on this one.  These fabric banners can be used at bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, etc.  I would love to hang something like this up in the playroom, but I think L would freak out.  I am going to pass this along to a friend with a little girl instead.

~Bella Chic Creations ($2): These would be cute for hanging up pictures at a wedding!  I think I am going to use mine in my office to hang up notes and reminders.

~The Adorable Studio Mints ($5): I can’t be the only one who loves these mints.   I much prefer these over jordan almonds you get at some weddings.   They are way better.  And I have to say that I felt awful ripping into that package.  It was so cute and perfect.  But I needed those mints!

~Pinwheel Studio Stationary ($6): Awesome little notecards for your groomsmen, bridesmaids or anyone else that is helping with your big day.  The designs are hand drawn and customizable and use craft paper for that rustic feel.

~Tips / Tricks Cards: The Bride Box has been including little planning cards in their boxes now that can help you out in the process.  I find that they are simple and to the point and remind you that it’s suppose to be fun.

All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $45 for the July 2014 The Bride Box!  As usual it came in above the cost of the box and was packed with planning ideas!
