I haven’t gotten too many subscription boxes this week, so I was super happy to see my July 2014 Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box on my porch this morning! I needed something to open!

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love HewittVerbalKelly RowlandCoco RochaSnoop Dogg and / or T-Pain. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is seriously awesome), as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.

Fancy Box ships via FedEx and always takes two days to arrive to me.  I got tracking for this one on Tuesday and it appeared today (Thursday).

This box totally could have been a different size!  It was giant for what was in it!

The Information Card

The July 2014 Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box didn’t appear to have an exact theme (some do and some don’t), but I thought it was a little office / school like.  Here is what was inside:

~Clueless Pencil Set ($8): OMG love.  Love love love.  First of all they are hot pink which I love.  And second, they have sayings on them which are references from the movie Clueless (only one of the best movies of all times)!  Awesome.

~Tattoo Colouring Book ($18): Instead of coloring Elmo and Superhero pictures when the kids color, I am going to color these.  They are so intricate and will take all of my coloring skills to perfect!

~Beautiful Card ($5): Rifle Paper Company has such great stuff and this card is gorgeous.  I like it so much and the colors are so beautiful that I might just frame it for my office.  Would that be weird?

~Get the Hint Sticky Notes ($10): Ha!  I don’t know that things would get done any faster with these on them, but (if you gave them to the right person) they’d get a good laugh!

~Tell Tale Push Pins ($9): Totally fun!   We have a cork board in the kitchen and I was actually thinking of picking up one for my office too, so these will make a great addition!

~Arrowhead Studs ($32): These might be one of my favorite jewelry pieces I have received from Fancy Box and Amano Studio.  They are cute and themed, but they aren’t giant which I appreciate!

All totaled I came up with a value of $82 for the July 2014 Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box and I loved it.  I think I was sold once I saw those Clueless pencils!  Plus, it was almost double the cost of the box plus shipping which is awesome!

Oh I am going to leave notes for my husband with them.

As eclectic as this box is I could totally see it being picked by JLH. Those pencils are awesome as is the other stuff. Fun fun fun I wonder now that she will be on Criminal Minds if her boxes will change and be more grown up then just the plain fun they have been.

    1. Jennifer

I don’t know how much grown up stuff Fancy Box has, so we might be good!

When I saw the card, the first thing that came to my mind was, that it would look great in a frame on the wall. So no I don’t think its weird at all. LOL

      Glad I’m not alone!

Frame that baby! One card company even sells mats so you can frame their cards easily. I took one into my framer in fact, and I’ll likely do more. I know someone else at the store had at least half a dozen made into wall art.

      That is cool of them!

I love the movie clueless. This box is so similar to T-Pains.

I always go back and forth on whether I like her boxes when reading the reviews. I usually like half of the box a lot and the other half makes me think I am too old for her demographic. I feel old. I must say I did buy a more adult coloring book at Costco last year. It’s relaxing to use color pencils while coloring with the 5 year old and the closest I come to being creative at times. The sticky notes are funny with the right person. The card is beautiful. I love the pencils.

      I totally agree on coloring!
