You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~As usual we had another busy weekend around here! We went up-north for the 4th and got back last night which worked out perfect. I heard traffic was a disaster today so it would have taken us forever to get home, but instead we got a ton of stuff done around the house and a bunch of errands taken care of. I am super excited because B even got a storm door hung for us that we have been wanting for ages. We need to find one that fits for the front door and we’ll be all set.
~I always think I am going to get SO much done when I go up-north, but it never works out that way. B says going up there makes him hungry, but it makes me sleepy. All that fresh air just puts me in a trance. So anyway, I am planning on updating the “Free / Almost” free subscription box list. I am thinking the cut-off will be boxes that are $5 or less to try for the first time.
~I am on a big hunt for a new office chair. The thing is I can’t find any I love. I have a cute one, but it might the the most uncomfortable chair ever. So anyway, I was thinking about maybe something with grey and orange to match my office, but I don’t believe that exists. And then I was thinking maybe just grey which would clearly be much easier to find. But now I am wondering if it’d be crazy if I did an aqua color? ~While at a very necessary trip to Target today (I hadn’t been in like 5 days) I ended up picking up some super clearance pillows. They don’t exactly go with my living room, but for $5 /pillow (reg. $20) I am going to make them work. They also had their summer area (like coolers and squirt guns and beach towels and kids chairs and that sort of thing) 30% off (I am guessing it’ll be 90% off about a week from now)!
~I started Me Before You and read like a chapter and then decided to stop and read something else first. So anyway, I am back into Me Before You and OMG I am hooked! I plan on finishing this one up in the next day or two. I think I already know how it ends (which is badly), but we’ll see!
-Other than my stop at the Pottery Barn Outlet (which you can ready about here) I didn’t take advantage of too many of the sales (subscription box or otherwise) that were out there. If you picked up some great deals I want to hear all about it!

Sometimes they just don’t change the signs from 70% off to 90% off! But it’s 90%!
If you can spring for it, a Herman Miller Aeron chair is about he greatest thing ever. They’re so fabulous that people have had them written into employment contracts.
Never mind, I see you’re looking for an extra chair and not a desk chair. My bad. Lol

Had a great wkd, too. Husband needs new glasses, so we made it into an adventure. Lunch, 2 frame stops, a local tourist attraction that we always overlook, 1 more frame stop, fro-yo then netflix on the sofa. Our errand turned into a mini-vaca. Mission accomplished & both of us are in better moods!

LOL! I have an orange office chair right now, but that one looks much more comfortable. It’s on carpet though, so I think I need to skip the wheels. It just doesn’t work.
What about getting one of those plastic mats that you put under the chair so it will roll around on the carpet?
Do you think that would look bad??
They are usually clear so it shouldn’t be too noticible. I also saw ones that look like wood panels when I Googled chair mats. I even saw a DIY where a someone took a clear mat and taped off chevron stripes on the back and spray painted it. Looked pretty cool as long as the paint didn’t rub off on the carpet.

I was up so late night reading and wanted so badly to skip till the end, but I resisted.
I actually think aqua is an amazing idea! First of all, look at your blog background. Second, it is just such a perfect contrast color to the rest of the office (orange and aqua. Yum). I’m assuming your office is somewhere you are often….having a stand out chair like that will just beckon you to sit down every time you walk in.
Sorry if I sound too excited about all that…I just love great color combos and that is one of my faves.

I own 4 of the chairs you posted. I have them in my spare room and drag them out when I have more people that can comfortably be seated on couch and chairs in LR. You don’t want this as a desk chair. They have a nice pattern but they get a bit uncomfortable after a bit. I think because the seat is deep they make you not sit all the way back which is bad for your back if you are at a desk.
Okay, I will continue the hunt!
