I had fun with this one last week so I thought I’d do it again!
Two Questions today…..
~What is your favorite subscription box? This is an easy one for me! Mine, as you all probably know, is PopSugar! It’s really what got me hooked on subscription boxes and I think it’s one that I will always subscribe to. I swear I am going to be 90 at the nursing home getting excited for PopSugar spoilers! I can’t really narrow it down to a favorite box (because it seriously changes constantly), but the June 2014 box was awesome as were the March 2014 and September 2012 ones! Â But really I love them all!
~Did you watch The Bachelorette last night? What’d you think? Â Of course I did! I think that Andi and Josh are clearly adorable, but ugh. Â Nick. Â Nothing was more awkward than when he and Andi were talking about why she wasn’t in love with him. Â It was just so uncomfortable. Â And OMG the previews for the Bachelor in Paradise? Â Bring it. I am so ready for that magic on my tv every week!

The girls & I watched the bear Grillys 48 hrs with Zac Efron & then Hotel Hell all in my bed in the trailer – cozy – happy that my teen still wants to hang with her mom & our exchange student is gonna go home & her mom is going be confused because she’s doing the same
I watched the beginning of the Bear Grylls show and can’t wait to watch the rest tonight. I was so distracted by the hotness that is Zac Efron that I almost forgot the Bachelorette was on.
For sure popsugar! And the Bachelorette omg!! I knew it was him from day one.. I like him too. And yes totally awkward when her and Nick were talking about I don’t know how I would do in that situation I might say some of the same things. Doesn’t mean I like him I can’t stand him he seemed totally insecure and arrogant all at the same time. She needs a MAN!
I do think Nick is hot. But he wasn’t going to change her mind. I wonder what Josh thinks about her sleeping with Nick? Pretty sure they did right?
Bespoke Post is my favorite because of the unique offerings that work for women, too. I also love the fact that I can opt out, and I do half the time. The beauty, food and style boxes are canceled (short of a nightmare with Social Bliss), but this one will stick around.
The Bachelorette? The only reality show I watch is Leah Remini’s.
I love that her and J Lo are friends!
I soo love Popsugar! I love that I liked more than one item in every single box. But, for the most part I loved everything in most boxes I’ve gotten. Also, like Ipsy, Boxycharm, Sample Society, and Glossybox. Most recently I’m loving Memebox, but I’ am yet to order one. If I had to pick I wouldn’t be able to…but Popsugar, Glossybox, and Memebox would be my runners up!
Ahhh Nick what a disappointment! TMI!! Not a gentleman. Glad she picked Josh!
Oh man, there was nothing good to that was going to happen with that conversation. I never get what people want to hear???
I felt she handled it very well. But OMG…Nick needs to grow ‘un par’. I’m with you I never get it either…
Popsugar for me! But for my daughter I would say Austin Lloyd.
That Sept POPSugar was my first ever and I was hooked. I keep getting it for a couple months and then I don’t. I’m off it right now but hopefully I’ll grab it again sometime. Not sure my favorite. I love my wantables intimates. Just something about getting those in the mail makes me happy 🙂
I don’t watch the Bachelorette. I have just never got into that one. I did turn on BBAD last night and before I knew it I had watched for an hour. LOL Frankie was cooking and while waiting for the food on the grill he was doing show routines. No one was really paying him attention but he was dancing away and I couldn’t not watch.
Hopefully they have a great code soon!
I’m such a mom, my favorite box has to be my son’s Citrus Lane, lol. I love getting his boxes and he gets so excited and yells out, “yay” when he sees his box. I was that crazy mom who changed my time zone last night so that I could add to his box, and use allt he free codes. I got 4 items and only paid $1.02. They rock.
I don’t watch the Bachellorette, but I was watching Real Housewives of the OC. Oh man, I am really starting to hate Tamra. lol
I will admit I did the same thing with the changing of the time zone. I got the Hedgehog skip hop cup…
i am new to subscription boxes i am still waiting to get my first one i ordered the Frisky for you box looking forward to it.
watched Hotel Hell last night them turned the tv off and read a book ( i love cozy mysteries

i ordered the Frisque you box you give a review on one of their boxes and they looked like a lot of fun so i looked thru there descriptions and decided to try this one
we are also trying hobbytron remote control box you get a free helicopter for trying them for a month and we are getting the pleasure pantery box i think i am going to try a couple of others maybe a food box and a random stuff type box there are so many to choose from its hard to decide
Popsugar is my favorite. Versatility that fits me.
Bachelorette? Ugh. I could not watch the end chatty talk between the two. Just made me want to hurl. Yeah, uncomfortable to listen to. Awkward, but fast forwarded thru some sections.
They really do look like they like each other!
I’m so glad she chose Josh and I’m sure she told him all about what happened with Nick I would have. As for Nick what a jerk-off he didn’t even know what he wanted to hear’ she told him what he needed to hear when she went to see him and he was so sure of himself that he really couldn’t believe it! ugh I just wanted her to slap him that was just so ugly of him.
I think Nick was really hurt, but it was so hard to watch. So hard!
Favorite box: I think it’s still Birchbox
Bachelorette: I watched it but I really can’t wait for Bachelor in Paradise and the mess that promises to be. The spoilers for it are crazy!
OMG it looks amazing. Just amazing.
I haven’t watched the finale yet but I’ve been sure it was Josh for a long time. I dunno. They are cute together, but the whole time it seemed like she knew the “family revolving around one sports star” thing was been-there-done-that for her and she knew that while she was attracted to those kind of guys, they ultimately weren’t right for her. I don’t feel like Josh really showed any sign that he was somehow different than every guy she’d dated before. But maybe I’m biased because breaking away from my “type” was the best decision I ever made. I dunno. Between Josh and Nick, I do think Josh was the better pick. I hated Nick and really felt like he was just trying to “win the game”, not actually “win Andy’s heart”.
Personally, I would have gone with Eric. I think she TOTALLY overreacted to what he said. The whole situation IS weird and fake. It isn’t at ALL a natural way to get to know someone and I totally see how he felt weird that they had a great connection on the first date and then she just treated him like everyone else after. But whatever… she is wouldn’t have been picked as The Bachelorette if she wasn’t fully committed to the fantasy of actually being able to get to know and fall in love with someone under those circumstances, and Eric seemed way too genuine and honest to fit into that world. It probably wouldn’t have worked out in the end anyway.
It is a weird situation. I would probably be able to fall in love in all the beautiful cities and romantic date spots too.
OK now that I actually watched it I am happy for her and Josh. Really, it was VERY clear she was picking him. Did you notice she referred to him as “babe” multiple times? I’m pretty sure she’s been doing that since hometowns… and ONLY to Josh. But if she was already “there” with him, she shouldn’t have kept kissing Nick. Whatever… I guess she couldn’t just kick both Chris and Nick off and end the show, right? So she had to keep it going.
All of Nick’s “You took it too far” and “I thought those were real feelings” just goes along with my belief that he really just saw this as a gameshow he wanted to “win”. I honestly believe that he saw how he was coming across on the show and that the other guys were bringing it up and so he just started acting all crazy heartbroken to try and seem more “real”. I’m sure Josh doesn’t give a crap that she slept with Nick- I think it’s kind of a given. But that was a dick move on Nick’s part. And what exactly constitutes “fiance type stuff” anyway? Gross!!
OMG yes, I saw that letter. The letter was actually better than the confrontation.
I would love to know what “fianc?” stuff is too???

1> My favorite box…Citrus Lane. This last month was a great box for us. I have yet to be disappointed. I loved Popsugar and am waiting for another three-month sub special to resign up. Julep was my first subscription and I think I will always love it.
Maybe there is something about our first loves??
1. Birchbox is probably my favorite. Their points system & limited edition boxes & customer service are great. It was my first box that got me addicted to subscription boxes, so it has a special place in my heart 😉

So hard to decide! I started receiving subscription boxes in May so not many months of comparisons. I think the family’s favorite is Escape Monthly, Dogs vote for BarkBox, older son Loot Crate, and younger son Kiwi Crate (we’ve been getting that since the beginning of the year).
It’s hard to pick one. PopSugar and Escape Monthly are both fun. I can see Homegrown Collective or Kreation Krate becoming a favorite.
My fave sub box by far is Indie Gift Box.
I like Popsugar, and all the other ubiquitous beauty ones.. However Indie Gift Box is very well curated , and after several months I have liked everything in the box they have sent.
It’s unfair that I am making people pick a favorite!
