Googaro, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for babies 0-3 years of age. Each month Googaro sends selects mom-approved items for you and your baby straight to your door. You’ll receive some of their favorite finds including toys, books, snacks, and household products.
Googaro ships via DHL Global Mail and took eleven days to arrive this month. DHL has been taking an extra long time for me this month. Hopefully next month they are back to quicker shipping.
I couldn’t tell too much from the first look. I wasn’t overly excited by it, but that might be because no bright colors popped at out me.
Googaro doesn’t have a monthly theme, but they have super cute information cards and their mascot is a cute little elephant. The information card has pictures and prices and lets you know the age group of the box you received (it’s on the side of the card) which is nice. I know sometimes there is confusion with some of the other subscription boxes where people wonder if they got the right box or not, but that doesn’t happen here. The box I received is for 2-3 year olds (boxes are grouped by 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 years) and included the following:
~Endangered Species Peel’n Stick Labels ($5.99): When can’t I use labels for things? I have some personalized ones for L for his school stuff, but none for WB yet. And these are dishwasher safe, which is even better. I can’t help but think how awesome these would have been had I had them back when L was a baby and I used to have to take his bottles – labeled – to daycare. I went through SO many Avery labels it was crazy!
~Plan Toys Speed Boat ($15): I love Plan Toys and this is something that we don’t have yet, so I love this too! It’s adorable and will last us for years! I am saving all my Plan Toys, Hape, etc. for my future grandkids. They are so well made (from recycled, non-toxic & organic materials no less) and are totally timeless. WB was already driving this guy around the floor this afternoon.
~Wee Can Too Veggie Crayons ($12.95): I have always wanted to try these and am so happy they are finally here! Now that I got the kids art cart together they are all about coloring and drawing which I love. WB doesn’t chew on crayons anymore (he totally used to though), but it’d be okay if he did as these are made from veggie-based ingredients including food grade soy wax.
~Aura Cacia Calming Foam Bath ($2.63): I gave WB a bath early today (we were bored) but I am excited to try this. I don’t know if it will calm him down (baths are kind of a wild activity at out house), but it’s worth a try!
~Yummy Earth Lollipops ($2.99): Suckers can solve all of my children’s problems in seconds. I try to carry some with me at all time for those rough times when we are out and about. These are headed directly in my purse for just that!
All totaled I came up with a value of $39.56 for the August 20914 Googaro box. I was quite pleased with this month’s box and think it’s been my favorite one from them over the past few months!

unrelated to this kid’s box post–did you see kiwi crate is on rue lala today? I don’t have kids, but I know you do and I know you post about deals 🙂
I did see that! I haven’t gotten around to posting any deals lately! I have been slacking!
Hoping I’ll get mine soon–it left Illinois 6 days ago according to the tracking…and originally shipped on like the 8th!
I bet you will! Mine didn’t update for ages and all of a sudden it was here.
I *finally* got mine today! Contacted Googaro and they said it was DHL’s fault.
Got the exact same box as you, though less excited about it (I think I only paid $15 so no big deal!). And it’s too late to skip for next month, so hope it will be worth the $35 again!
