Well the flooded streets in Metro Detroit didn’t stop FedEx! They were here bright and early with my August 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box!
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month plus shipping, has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or Nicky Hilton. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx and took two (FedEx) days to arrive. This shipped on Friday night and arrived this morning.
B carried this box in the house for me today and thought it was empty. LOL. It was SO light. I think the contents filled up about 1/10 of the box.
The August 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box didn’t have a theme (they never really do but sometimes the items all seem to relate to each other), but the following items were included:
~Ice Cream Cone Ankle Socks ($8): These are hysterical. I love! I will happily wear these around the house and the kids will get a kick out of them.
~Diamond Cutout Necklace by Luxe Cartel ($24.50): The information card says that this is a “Dainty Gold Circle Necklace”, but mine is clearly not. I know I have some similar gold circle necklaces so maybe one of them came from Fancy in a previous box so I received something different? I think the gold circle is cuter but this isn’t bad either.
~Banksy Temporary Tattoos ($10): These are cool, but I don’t really know where I will be wearing all the temporary tattoos I get? Is there another use for these?
~Luna Holographic Checkered Clutch ($45): I can’t decide if I love this or hate it! I wouldn’t use it as a clutch, but as an iPad case or a makeup pouch? That could work. I like the holograph effect, but the checkers are what I am not so sure about. I’ll make it work though.
All totaled I came up with a value of $87.50 for the August 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box. It wasn’t my favorite box of hers, but it’s not awful either. I do love those ice-cream socks! Hopefully I love next month’s more!

I actually think that necklace is so cute! And the clutch too, though I agree better as a makeup bag or something than a purse. I dig the checkers though… Might actually be really cute with white pants and black top?

BACK IN THE DAYS OF YORE I USED TO PUT TEMP TATTOOS IN MY JOURNALS. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, JUST DO IT LIKE YOU WOULD ON YOUR ARM, BUT DON’T USE SO MUCH WATER OR YOU’LL SOAK YOUR BOOK. YOU COULD USE THEM FOR ART PROJECTS OF SOME KIND. I COULD SEE THEM BEING PRETTY COOL W/ SCRAPBOOK STUFF, STUCK IN A PIC FRAME FOR A FRIEND.

I like the temporary tattoos, but perhaps that’s because I love Banksy. Anyway, I had a friend who had a party and decorated her balloons and clear plastic cups with temporary tattoos, it turned out really cute. Perhaps that’s a way you can use them?

One of my favorite design blogs used temporary tattoos on woodblocks and then sprayed them with sealer and used them as decor. So cute on a shelf or desk.

Love the socks and necklace. It’s hard to tell about the clutch from the picture. I think this box is better than the JLH box this month.
I was a little disappointed in this box and the items didn’t seem like items kelly rowland would pick out to be honest. What do you think she’ll do when she have the baby or do you think she has future boxes selections picked out in advance?
