The Boodle Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group, but don’t think it’s just for tweens / teens at all.  I know a lot of adults that subscribe for themselves and love it!

The Boodle Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and tends to arrive a few days before the month actually begins.  That’s more than fine by me because I love getting these boxes and seeing what’s inside.

Without even reading the information card, I could tell the theme of this box!  They not only do a great job with the items in the box, but they also coordinate the packing materials to match the theme.

The September 2014 The Boodle Box theme was “Go Wild” and included the following goodies you’ll go wild for this month:

~Salon Effects Twin Pack in Wild Child / Kitty, Kitty by Sally Hansen ($12.65): I have actually bought these on my own in the past and liked them!  I am not amazing at applying them, but with a pattern like these are, it doesn’t even matter.  The solid colors or straight line ones are the hardest to do.  These fun prints are much more forgiving!

~Bow Midi Ring ($7.95): This can be used as a midi ring, pinkie ring or just as a regular ring.  I will probably end up passing this on to an actual tween who will love it!

~Leopard Print Purse Ring Organizer by Jewelry Nanny ($19): I am cracking up because when I first pulled this out of the box I was like, uhh, this is kind of hard and heavy for a purse.  And then I realized it was a ring holder which is way way way cooler. I have been browsing at TJ Maxx for a new ring holder “thing” and now my search is over!  I love this so much!

~No Crease Hair Ties in Glitter and Animal Prints by Sisterly Ties ($8):  I am always (always) in need of hair ties and these are fun.  The glitter ones are my favorite (of course), but they will all get used.

~Pink Leopard Shoelaces by EpicSports ($3.99): Oh how I would have loved these back in 1988 when I was a tween rocking my giant bangs!  And I imagine teens today will be just as excited about them!  Minus the big bangs though.

~Pop Beauty Lip Balm ($4): This smells great, works great and is hot pink.  What’s not to like about that?

~Zebra Print Nail Polish Remover Pads by NPW Gifts ($2.99): I used to wonder if nail polish remover pads were really worth it and kind of thought they were a “luxury”.  I mean you can get the polish off much cheaper with a cotton ball and a big bottle of nail polish remover right?  Well you can, but it takes half the bottle to get glitter off your nails.  Nail polish remover pads work much better for those tough jobs!

All totaled I came up with a value of $58.58 for the September 2014 The Boodle Box!  And, as usual, I am loving this box.  They do such a fabulous job with their themes and the products are always so fun.  I’m an adult and get so excited when I see this box in the mailbox, I can’t even imagine how I could have felt to see it when I was younger!

Can’t wait for mine to get here!!! I usually try not to see your review first so I can be surprised… but the zebra print made me open your post. Old lady over here is SUPER EXCITED for this one!
Also, for Tara who commented above, they sell past boxes on the site too, so if your sub doesn’t start till Oct you could probably still get this one.

They are always such cute boxes. If I had a teenage daughter I bet we’d be fighting about who got to open this.
