~I can’t believe that this week is almost over! How is that possible? We were suppose to be getting ready for our weekend garage sale, but umm, that so hasn’t happened. Instead L and B went to the County Fair last night while WB and I played at home. I suppose it will all come together though because, well, it has to.
~I caught up on the last few episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County this week wow, what a mess. I totally believe that Tamra said all that stuff and that Lizzie is telling the truth. I can’t wait for next week’s episode. And the reunion should be a total disaster. I read somewhere that it’s the least exciting of the series, but I still love it.
~In case you missed it last night, GLOSSYBOX has just launched a new Limited Edition Box called the “Beauty Discovery GLOSSYBOX“. It’s $40 and includes everything pictured below. I am on the fence on this one. Had they just announced a Limited Edition box and not released the contents I would have jumped all over it and then would have been super excited to get these items when it arrived. It makes no sense, but that’s what I would have though!
~I am still expecting quite a few boxes this week including my Birchbox for CEW boxes, ispy, a Memebox, my regular Birchbox, Bespoke Post, Furry Friends Club and Dottiebox Mini. bluum, Citrus Lane, Kiwi Crate and a few more are on their way, but I don’t expect to see them until next week!
~I’ve been getting a bunch of questions about this and I only wish I knew when the Allure Fall Beauty Box would be going on sale. I am actually surprised that it hasn’t happened yet because last year I HAD my box by August 10th! Hopefully we hear something soon because it’s driving me nuts as well. I want to be ready!
~My attempts at going to bed “early” (i.e. by the end of Fallon at the latest) have been a complete failure. But with Back to School happening soon, I need to make it happen. So I downloaded the “Go To Bed” reverse alarm clock iPhone app. Umm, there is an app for everything. I will report back on it next Thursday after I have had a chance to use it for a week.
~I am still working on my Fall Giveaway selections but I have a general idea of what I am doing so I should have it posted within the next few days! Maybe Saturday?

Okay, I just signed you up. You were (and still are) signed up only for the weekly newsletter (which I am awful at doing weekly). You signed up for that on the 6th.
Just FYI, for some reason my daily update went to my span folder today. Maybe that’s happening to other people too? I just told it this was NOT junk! and it moved it back.

Fun fact – I found out recently that Shannon’s husband David Bedor is a MSU alum. They hosted a fundraiser in their home with Izzo and Hollis a few months ago 🙂

I totally feel the same way about that Limited Edition Glossybox. It’s all about the surprise. Even though I always spoil it before I get it! I think it’s the excitement of stalking blogs, MUT, Instagram for the spoilers that I really love. If I know the contents ahead of time it’s just not as fun! Crazy I know 🙂

Do you (or anyone else on here) get the kids’ box Googaro, or have you in the past? I got a deal on one from PlumDistrict (I think) last month. Got a shipping notice from them a week ago, but the tracking number doesn’t seem to work anywhere. It says it’s through like DHL ground parcel mail, or something like that. Just wondering if anyone else had experience with them and how long their shipping usually takes before I contact them to see about the tracking.
I’m so spoiled by Amazon Prime and their fast shipping and good tracking! So many sub boxes seem to end up in shipping limbo for a while.
Ohh I do have Googaro coming! I would say about a week. What does your tracking say/ DHL is SO SLOW.
They didn’t give me a link I could click on, and I couldn’t get the tracking number to turn up on DHL’s site. I just tried again with USPS, and it’s now showing up and is in Illinois (today is the first date listed, even though it supposedly shipped a week ago). I’m in MD, so I guess it will take a few more days. At least I know where it is now!

Also, it looks like both Ipsy and Wantable Intimates have arrived at my local post office, so maybe those will come tomorrow!

Well…I got my Ipsy. But the only things in the package were the mascara and a little info card! The other four items, plus the bag, were missing! (I thought it felt awfully light). They don’t usually send stuff out separately, right? I e-mailed their customer care. Sigh.
On the plus side, my replacement Wantable Accessories box came, and it’s soooo much better than the last one! Apparently I just had to pick gold instead of silver! Three pretty necklaces and a ring that’s a little small, but seems a bit adjustable, so I can probably make it work. At least I have one success so far this month! Sigh…
Yeah same with me Jill. My box shipped out a week ago and DHL shipping updates don’t seem to be working. No idea when the box will arrive. I have a few other items I recently ordered that are shipping via DHL but same problem with the tracking not working there too.

I was doing good with the going to bed earlier but last night it was almost 1 again. 🙁 I’m feeling it today especially after spending the morning at the pool with C. M is working tonight too so I’m thinking it will be an easy pizza party kindof night.
Now see, I went to bed at 1am last night and thought that was great!
I think Tamra said most of that stuff but I think Lizzie just keeps adding and changing the gossip too much so that it seems Lizzie is making some of it up. Either way I think they are both wrong, Tamra shouldn’t have said it but Lizzie is just as wrong by repeating it.

So, it sounds like the boxes will go on sale around the end of Aug/early Sept. Last time my “pre-sale” box was shipped the same day after the box went on sale to all, and it arrived about 5 days later.
