I am still loving these, so let’s do it again this week!

Two Questions today…..

~What has been your favorite all time vacation ever? I think mine is a tie between a trip we went on to St. Lucia when L was a baby or one of our trips to Cabo! St. Lucia is absolutely gorgeous and we stayed at The Landings which is insane. I won the trip (this was back when I was big into entering sweepstakes) and it was incredible. I would recommend St. Lucia and the Landings in a second. One day we will go back. And Cabo is also amazing.  I think it’s been built up a lot more since the last time we went, but I want to go back and check it out. And I think the boys will go crazy for deep sea fishing when they are a bit older!

~What is one thing that is annoying you right now?  Oh man, I have so many.  LOL!  But right now it’s seriously this Share A Coke thing.  Why can’t I locate “Jennifer”?  I know it’s out there, but all the other Jennifer’s are clearly drinking them because there are NONE in Michigan.  I found B’s (even with a “y”) at the airport in Florida and I have seen Luke and Will (close enough), but Jennifer?  Nada.  Ahhh, where is it?

I can’t wait to hear everyone’s answers!!!  Hope you are having a great Tuesday so far!

    1. Jennifer

Ahhh, I am on the hunt!

And I am kind of cracking up because I thought my 6 year-old had chicken pox yesterday! It turns out he was actually just bitten by a million bugs (or one bug a million times) while camping! I hope that’s not really what your little guy has!

  2. cindy

i never see cindy either or even Cynthia in any type of coke. my co -workers husb wrks for coke. will ck it out

    1. Jennifer

Did you check the website to see if they have it??

      1. cindy

        will do thanx

    2. cindy

but yes saw Jennifer at my targets too

  3. Jenny

I found a Jennifer at my Target. I was walking by the display and it was just there. An omen I say so I had to buy it. I will keep an eye out for another one for you 🙂
Favorite trip hmm not sure I’ve never really gone anywhere over exciting but I love cruising and have visited ports that way. I did love my honeymoon which was a roller coaster road trip. Yes I am a geek like that 😉 Disney is always a favorite of mine but had to pick just one trip as being the best so I can’t use that one.

    1. Jennifer

OMG yes! If you find one I’d be forever in your debt!

Did you go to Cedar Point? If you ever go again, tell me and we’ll meet you! That’s a day trip for us!

      1. Jenny

Of course we went there 😉 We also did the rock-n-roll hall of fame in Cleveland, went up to Niagara Falls and ended up at Hershey Park. I love a good Ohio coaster road trip. Before kids M and I went to Kings Island and CP about every other year. LOL

        1. Jennifer

Well when the boys all get bigger you can start going again! I think L will be tall enough for a lot of the stuff next summer. We’d go now but I know he would be annoyed he’s not tall enough!

I actually looked on the website about finding my name on a Coke and they don’t even have it. I can customize one though. But I have never found my name on anything, ever. That is def annoying me, lol

    1. Jennifer

That is hard!! My name is on everything, but since it’s so common I can never find it!!!!

  5. Jody

These are tough questions! I have always enjoyed cruises, and I think the top one for me was a Boston to Bermuda cruise we took a few years ago. The reason, it was the most relaxing vacation ever. We live right outside Boston, so we didn’t have to deal with airports, and to just “park” the ship for about 3 days and just enjoy the surroundings was heaven. Coming home was so stressfree too — since it’s about 20 Minutes from the port to my front door. Why haven’t we gone back??

What is annoying me is that I have about 3 weeks of work to complete in 3 days so that I can take next week off and not stress too much. It looks like I’ll be going into the office on Saturday to tie up some loose ends!!

    1. Jennifer

I so feel you on the not having to deal with airports. I think that would make an amazing vacation!

  6. Julie

Best vacation ever was the one I just returned from a few weeks ago . . . 8 days of hiking in Italy in the Dolomites followed by 3 days in Venice. So much fun!

I’m annoyed by how late in the month I always receive my GlossyBox. I always see tons of spoilers before I get mine on one of the very last days of the month. *pouts*

    1. Jennifer

      Oh that vacation sounds amazing!!!!!

  7. squinj

~What has been your favorite all time vacation ever? This is a tuffie because I have had so many great vacations. I think last year when I went to London and Paris w/ 6 friends and two of them got engaged on the top of the Eiffle tower has to be right up there at the very top. I also have super fond memories of camping w/ my family, or summers spent at my Grandparents lakehouse. I just like vacations period. haha

~What is one thing that is annoying you right now? That I don’t have Emeril to cook for me every day and I have to come up w/ my own meal plans. My brain feels fried after a while trying to think up healthy stuff.

    1. Jennifer

      I just like vacations too!!!

  8. Hilary Burditt

My favorite vacation ever…. that is a really hard question! I don’t think I can pick just one.. one of them was a trip I took with my family to Grenada – an island in the southernmost part of the Caribbean- almost to Venezuela… I have been to quite a few of the Bahamian or Caribbean islands and this one was by far my favorite. It has its fair share of nice resorts but the towns aren’t touristy at all and the island is really safe and laid back! The island is mountainous and beautiful, the locals were so friendly and the food was really good. The islands biggest export is Nutmeg, its grown all over the island along with other spices (I think its called the “Spice Island”) and they put nutmeg on everything! I was here for Christmas- it was my first time not being home for Christmas eve but the resort did such a great job celebrating the holiday and having a nice Christmas brunch and dinner– we had a blast. This is also where I learned to scuba dive which was really cool! Anyone who is planning a trip to the Caribbean and isn’t sure about which island to go to I would highly recommend Grenada if you are looking for something laid back and relaxing (and very safe!) with colorful people! Also because it is so far south and close to the equator the weather is impeccable, rarely ever a rainy day.

On another note- about your post for Jimmy Fallon tickets — > forgot to mention that they are having a ticket release online today at 11:30 Am eastern time.. here is the link- http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/blogs/2766
I am not sure if these are for shows a month or two for now or if they are for shows that are very soon. Good Luck!

    1. Jennifer

You are making me want to go to Grenada!!!!!!!

  9. Lori

We went to St Lucia for our honeymoon and it was fabulous! We stayed at a Sandals resort. Definitely a favorite of my vacations, tied with Paris and Europe in general.

My biggest annoyance is having missed garbage day for two weeks in a row after my son’s birthday party because we went up north to see family. So. Many. Flies. In my garage. I took it all out this morning so I really hope it’s all picked up with no problem. Yuck.

    1. Jennifer

Ugh. I hate missing garbage day. It’s even worse in the summer too. I feel for you.

  10. Crstina

My favorite vacation ever was a trip to Cancun. Cancun has the nicest sand I have ever seen. Everything is so perfect, the food, the weather, I can spend weeks there. We definately want to go back this December.

What’s annoying me right now…. the fact that I was unable to watch Real Housewives of OC last night because my son wanted to watch Toy Story 3 a million times!!!! Every time he sees the TV on, he will request, “Buzz.” At first it was cute, but now, it’s just annoying!! lol

    1. Jennifer

I have actually never been to Cancun. I have come so close to going so many times (I was even AT THE AIRPORT) and then just bailed and didn’t go. So odd.

  11. carolyn

my favorite vacation ever was when we got into the truck and just drove no real desination we left from Missouri and ended up in lousiana spent the night in a hotel . saw the gators, when to a couple of parks , we watched a lightening storm over the water beautiful.

im annoyed because i am setting at the office fighting sleep and can’t take a nap till later and by then im sure i will be wide awake Grrrrrrrrrrr

    1. Jennifer

I want to do a road trip like that one day with the kids. I think they would love that!

  12. Elizabeth

    1. My favorite vacation spot has to be Disney World, but my favorite vacations are the ones we’ve taken the girls on. I can’t wait until we can take them to Disney!
    2. Currently annoying me – people who comment on websites with silly questions. Did you first read the instructions like everyone else? 🙂

    1. Jennifer

I love watching the kids faces when they see Disney!

  13. Laura

We pretty much just vacation in California, since we both have family there (his parents.. and I’ve got about 5 billion relatives there). New Year’s 2013 (so starting December 31, 2012) was pretty awesome though. We were staying with his parents, but took a mini-vacation-in-a-vacation to Lake Tahoe to ring in the new year.. and I won $75 at the casino. My first time ever really gambling. I spent $5 and won $80 so I profited $75! Which paid for our drinks that night. It was really, really, really cold and there were a ton of girls wearing very skimpy clothing.. so it was great people watching! Tons of backpacking/camping “vacations” too.. though when we first started dating we took a road trip to Vancouver, BC. That was fun. Now that he’s no longer a student, we won’t have a ton of time for vacation but since he’s got a very nice job, we’ll be able to afford better vacations.. hopefully next summer we can go to Germany and maybe other countries in the EU.

I did chaperone my eldest niece’s (7th grade at the time) field trip to the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, CA though.. including a ferry trip to Catalina Island where we went snorkeling. That was pretty cool. I’m pretty sure I had the most fun out of everyone there, especially the kids.

Being annoyed.. I’m annoyed that I’m not done painting my house yet so haven’t actually officially moved in. The master bedroom had one massive wall of poorly placed wall paper that took forever to remove and I’ve been babysitting at my parents house every day since my siblings are all in education and have been back to work recently. Good news is that the kiddos will be back in school next week so I should be able to finish everything by next weekend. It’ll have been about an entire month since we got the keys!

    1. Jennifer

      Removing wallpaper is the worst!

I think my favorite vacation was back when my parents took my sister and I on a Mexican Rivera cruise. I was in my 20s and my sister was a teen, so we didn’t **love** the idea of being stuck on a boat with my parents but it turned out to be the best balance of mandatory family time and alone time. That was also the first time I ever got drunk (because my MOTHER kept buying me drinks one night and then tried to lie to my dad the next morning when he saw all the charges and thought someone stole our keycard!).

And speaking of drunk…. I’m annoyed that I had a margarita at dinner and then a glass of wine at home last night and now I can’t freaking get going to save my life. I drank almost a pot of coffee and I still want to crawl back into bed. What happened to me?! A few years ago I’d regularly go dancing every Wednesday, close down the freaking club and still be totally fine at my 8am meeting with senior management at the bank. GRRRRR. I hate getting old.

    1. Jennifer

I am cracking up that your mom was trying to say that your key card was stolen!!!! That must have been hysterical!

  15. Maria A.

My most daring trip was going around Italy in a train from one city to the next while single… an amazing experience that was! But a vacation, a fun relax yet exciting experience… have to say everywhere I’ve been with my husband. Top fav’s Playa del Carmen and going back to Europe with him <3

Can't find Maria either…of all places in Florida. That's a new one lol 🙂

    1. Jennifer

      Italy sounds amazing!

  16. Sara Cee

My favorite vacation was about three years ago – we were gone for 10 days to Fuerteventura over Christmas and New Year and it was amazing! Normally, Christmas is SO busy around here, like, getting from one ‘appointment’ to the next and it’s mostly nothing but stress. So, three years ago we – my Mom and I – went on Christmas vacation with my grandmother who had never set foot on an airplane before^^ And for the first time, it was a real holiday for all of us since we didn’t have to cook/cater to anybody else’s needs…it was magical.

What’s annoying me is that I still don’t have any furniture in my living room besides my couch! I moved in about three months ago and went furniture hunting afterwards and all the cupboards, side boards, low boards…they all looked pretty much the same. It was like you have this one basic model/design and 37 variatons of it, but if you don’t like the basic design…well, I’m hoping that there will be some new models coming in this fall bc while I really feel like I need furniture in my living room, I just don’t feel like getting something only to get something. So annoying!

Also, is this ‘loom bands’ thing a topic in your household? My niece – who recently turned five – wants one of those starter kits and my sister has got no idea, if she should get on that train, so I’m pretty much asking anybody with kids around that age for advice 😉

    1. Jennifer

Ugh. L got a rainbow loom for Christmas and it is seriously the most difficult little thing ever to use. I had to watch an 11 year-old’s YouTube video to figure out how to use it.

  17. Lisa

Best trip ever–Anguilla, where I went on my honeymoon, and then again for my first anniversary. A very small, very laid back island near St. Martin with amazing beaches and food and the calmest, bluest water I have ever seen. Want to go back with my two littles when they are slightly older–would be too hard now with the little one being on formula and I’m sure the older one would get bored since there aren’t any zoos, amusement parks, etc. We’ll probably do Cancun or Puerto Rico again this winter. And I have been looking for Eric and Lisa on Coke bottles (my husband and me)–they don’t have my older son (Nolan), but I already found my little guy (Ryan)!

    1. Jennifer

I know I have seen Lisa!

I think my boys could spend hours just digging on the beach!

  18. chelsea

Favorite vacations: Gosh this is a toughie…I’ve had lots of great vacations. But probably the one that makes me smile the most is when my husband and I took a road trip from Anchorage to a small town north of Fairbanks called Manly. It was just the two of us (pre-kiddo) and we explored and talked and I feel we got a lot closer during the vacation. We drove to Manly to try out their hotsprings…which were located inside a greenhouse on someone’s property. It ran on the honor system and was so nice. We met amazing people on the trip as well. I’ve been to Europe, gone to the Bahamas on a cruise, spent 2 weeks in Maui but for me…the trip to Manly was the most fun.

    1. Jennifer

That sounds like a really cool trip! I would love to visit Alaska!

  19. Lindsay

I even found Linds, which is a nickname of Lindsay! Crazy that you haven’t found Jennifer. I will look next time I’m at Target. Are you looking at regular or diet Coke?

    1. Jennifer

I have found Linds too! I don’t even care at this point which it is. It’s kind of a game now. LOL.

  20. Hannah

My favorite vacations(s) was a 9 day trip to Italy (Florence & Rome) 2 summers ago with my mom & sister. And 2 winters ago I studied abroad in Peru for 2 weeks & had a blast. I picked these 2 because I will not die happy if I don’t return to both of them someday. <3

I'm annoyed at my boyfriend because he won't go grocery shopping with me in a few minutes 🙁

    1. Jennifer

Did he end up going shopping with you?

  21. Mallory B

I can NEVER find my name on personalized items, so I don’t even get bothered by it anymore.

My favorite vacation? I love beaches and sunshine and crystal clear blue water, BUT, my favorite vacation was when my brother, dad, and I went to London/Paris. Seriously so amazing. My soul was born for Paris. Sitting in cafes, drinking coffee, ALL THE SHOPPING. For real. I’m still in love with that city.

One thing annoying me right now? Something is always annoying me! LOL. But right at this very moment it’s the fact I’ve had a headache for 3 days and it just won’t go away.

    1. Jennifer

That sounds like a great vacation! And I would be beyond annoyed with a 3 day headache.

  22. Swati

My favorite vacation was went me and the hubs went to Miami to bring in his milestone birthday a couple of years ago. It was our last kind of big vacation before we had a baby and we just spent time at the beach, sleeping in and lazing around without thinking about naptimes and high chairs! lol.. seems like ages ago!

Whats annoying me right now.. umm, nothing much really 🙂 just anxious that our next vacation we’re planning for Labor Day to Cabo, Mexico finally falls into place. #fingerscrossed

    1. Jennifer

EEEK! Fingers crossed. Where are you staying in cabo?

      1. Swati

We’re still looking! Do u have any suggestions on where to stay?

        1. Jennifer

I have stayed at the Westin and at the Marquis Los Cabos which I think is now a Secrets resort. They aren’t really swimmable beaches though so just be aware of that. You have to stay closer to downtown for a swimmable beach. I think the Hilton has one though.

  23. Kristin

My vacation favorite has got to be Paris & Swizterland of my Europe trip last summer. I loved all of Europe and wish I could have had more time there. Although it’s been nice here at the beach

Annoying me right now is the flies – OMG they are horrible thus year. Even the pups are annoyed by them.

A little late in replying, today was grocery day which included a Walmart trip& the pet store & then we went to the drive in.

  24. Advocarerunner

Love this two on Tuesday idea! Totes “linking up” next week.

    1. Jennifer

      Yay!! Can’t wait!
