September 2014 Fabletics

I wasn’t expecting the mail to be amazing yesterday, but it turned out to be quite a fabulous day. One of the many packages that arrived was my September 2014 Fabletics.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95.   And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Bag

Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post and took only four days to arrive to me.  For Smart Post, that is not bad at all.

The Information Card

I forgot to take a first look picture, but everything comes packaged in individual sealed bags.  A packing slip is also included and sometimes they throw in free samples.  I think I have gotten packets of shampoo / conditioner, Starbucks Via Refresher single packs and a few other items.

I opted for the “Owyhee” outfit this month which contained the following pieces:

~Omemee Tank (Black) ($27.95): Most Fabletics stuff tends to run TTS or a bit big, but I thought this one was a bit small.  Maybe that’s just because it’s a thicker fabric than a lot of my other Fabletics stuff?  Anyway, I love the double strap on one shoulder and would get more colors of this for sure – just in a bigger size.

~Naddi Legging (Camo / Dark Grey) ($47.95): I have been getting capris the past few months, so I figured it was time for full length pants this month.  A friend of mine got these when they first came out and she inspired me to get them too because they looked so cute on her.  I don’t believe I have ever purchasing camo anything before now, so I was due.

All totaled, using Fabletics individual pricing, I came up with a value of $75.90 for my September 2014 Fabletics selection.  Using non-member pricing it would have jumped to $94.90!  The outfit itself cost $69.95 like I mention every month, I have easily purchased JUST pants for more than that in the past!

What do you think of Fabletics?  Something you’d check out?  New members can try their first outfit for only $25 right now (no coupon code necessary), so if you are interested in ordering or just want to check out their outfits, click here!

I noticed that with the omemee tank too! Usually I get the same size for everything (except 1 size up for the salar capris) but that tank in my normal size was quite tight and tough to get on! Was totally fine once it was on, but it was surprising

It was a fight to get it on for sure!

Do Fabletics tops come with the boob bits?

    1. Jennifer

Some do, some don’t. This one did.

I’m still waiting for them to start shipping to Canada, they just keep saying “September”! Loved some of the releases this month, the bright pink is amazing and so is the jacket with the asymmetrical zipper. How the heck did you limit yourself to one outfit?!

OMG they haven’t started yet?? I thought of you on the first this month and wondered what all you ordered. I hope they do it soon!

Just found out it will start on Monday! About time, I was really expecting it to be on the first!

With my first Fabletics order, I went with medium for the whole thing (bottoms, top, bra) based on the size chart. When I got them, only the bottoms fit, and I had to send back the top for an XS (I’ve NEVER been an xs in my life), and the bra for a small (and at 32DD-34DD I wouldn’t consider my boobs “small,” either). However, now that I know my sizing, I’m happy.
