It’s time for another edition of What I’m Loving Wednesday! Here’s what I am loving this week!
I’m Loving…..
Sweater Throws. I am lusting after this one from Pottery Barn, but I am waiting to find it on super clearance before I snag it. I saw it at the PB Outlet over Labor Day weekend, but it was only like 20% off and that’s just not enough of a discount. But it is a fabulous throw.
I’m Loving…..
My Boys! Watching WB RUN to L when he sees him coming out the doors of the school just about makes my heart melt. Sure they bicker and fight, but don’t all brothers?
I’m Loving…..
Target One Spot. Does anyone not like The One Spot? Where else can you get a pack of super cute Thank You Cards, Crayola Bathtub Fingerpaint Soap and Halloween Decorations for only $1 each? Well I guess you could get all that at the dollar store, but I am a Target girl.
I’m Loving…..
The Botanical Kids Owie + Healing Salve. This little tin of magic came in a Binka Box (which is now closed) this winter but I didn’t use it for the first time until this week. WB had an icky rash that just would NOT go away and was driving him crazy. I knew I had to some something from a box that could fix it and came up with this. And it worked like a charm. I was shocked. Of course, it totally stinks, but whatever. Once this lady’s etsy shop opens again, I am getting more.
I’m Loving…..
Pedicures. B and I went and got pedicures for the first time in over a year on Monday. Gosh, it may have been even longer than that. Anyway, it was so nice to just sit and relax and then leave with pretty toes.
I’m Loving…..
Football Season. Ahh it’s finally here! Michigan State may have lost over the weekend, but the Lions won on Monday Night, so that (kind of) made up for it. I am hoping for wins out of both of them this coming up weekend. Oh and does anyone play Fantasy Football? I think I need to do this next year. It seems fun. And super confusing. But mainly fun.
That’s it from here. What are you loving this week?
I love college football but was never really into the NFL but my husband loves it and is in a bunch of FFL so last year I decided to join a league to help me get into the NFL games. I joined two leagues (one for fun and one with money involved) and it was a bunch of fun! I didn’t get too far into watching all the games or doing a ton of research on players but it definitely made the season more enjoyable and I spent my time with my husband actually watching some of the games. I didn’t win yet her league, but am trying again this year. So far I lost both my first week games but am projected to win both this week! Yey! I definitely recommend joining 🙂
I like college football a lot more as well. But I watch the NFL games too
I looooove playing fantasy football. It makes watching all the games (even the ones my team isn’t playing in) so much more exciting to watch. You would love it!
I bet I would too! Next year!
I played fantasy football last year {or the year before?} and it’s a ton of fun. My husband like it too because I actually knew the players/games he was talking about..lol! With another kid in the mix, I didn’t commit this year. Hopefully next year though.
I’m going to need to look into the owie ointment. Sounds like a unique gift I could give our daycare provider.
It works like a dream. I am still shocked. I thought I was going to have to get a prescription for him.
I love fantasy football. It makes watching football even more exciting, and it doesn’t take as much time as fantasy baseball or basketball since they only play once a week. The first time I played, I chose my players by how interesting their names were because I had no idea, and I ended up doing really well.
I think that is how I would pick too.
I’ve been playing fantasy football for a few years now (started in league with husband’s coworker), and this year I’m actually in two different leagues! It’s confusing at first but definitely fun (and frustrating at times!) It’s fun being in a league with my husband, especially since I usually do better than him! 🙂
That is so fun! Next year I am doing it for sure!
I live in Steeler Country, need I say more 🙂 That’s sweet how the boys greet each other after school. They are adorable in the picture. My boys are 9.5 years apart and bicker. They have a motto Brothers Together, Brothers Forever. I love spa pedicures although I only get them a couple times a year. They are nice and relaxing. I live in a boring area. No limeade Oreos, no cookiedough chapstick, and no Pottery Barn outlets 🙁 . Love the throw.
The Pottery Barn outlet isn’t exactly close to me. 1.5 hours away. But it’s worth it!
Now I want that Pottery Baarn throw too, it looks so cuddly soft.
It was so nice.
Ikea has a great cable knit throw that comes in 2 colors and it’s only around $30. It’s a dupe for a Ralph Lauren throw that came out a few years ago. However, it’s 100% cotton so probably only good for you in Michigan on summer evenings.
I keep my house COLD in the winter. Gotta layer up!
Where do I start…Fantasy Football is what I live for every season!! There is still opportunities for you to get involved this season if you want!! But it definitely makes purchasing the NFL Network TV packages worth it and staying up Thursday night, all day Sunday, and Monday night worth it to support your boys…and teams lol 😉
I am doing my fourth season, right now I am in First place, but my first season I picked guys according to their looks and got second place lol.
Now that is a good method! I may have to try that!
Lol 🙂
So my dad actually has his own Fantasy Football League. They are a group of guys who hold “meetings” at my dad’s house where they discuss the rules and trade players. He actually has a big trophy and the person who wins get’s their name and date engaved on it. He’s had the league for about 12 years now. I think it’s so funny because they take it so seriously.
All my friends who do it are SO serious about it too. It’s so funny to see their draft parties! I don’t know that they have rule meetings though! I bet they have a great time with it.
Did you see these? Not quite as amazing as the Pottery Barn sweater throw but still look comfy and cozy. And cheaper:) You’ve now totally made me want a sweater throw.

Someone else mentioned that IKEA one too! I will have to check it out next time I am there.
I’m loving that NFL football has started and the smell of fall is in the air, especially early mornings when I’m at the boys’ bus stop.
I received Ikea catalog in the mail and I just love Ikea!
FYI: http://www.musthave.popsugar.com is down until Tuesday, 9/16
I’m seriously thinking about subscribing. I cancelled Glossybox for now; but, I’ll probably end up resubscribing.
OMG I know. I am dying to see what PopSugar is up too! They sent out an e-mail saying they were working on new boxes. I can’t wait to see what that means!
I’m trying to get my fiance to go get a pedicure but its not working so well. I’m like, dammit you’re feet are gross and it feels good!
need to get to Target onespot asap! such cute things
It does feel good! My husband wasn’t down for it at first either. And then he went and was hooked!
