Craft What?!?, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly craft subscription box. Each month they you a box of materials and you are tasked with creating a craft using ONLY those items. After you are done you upload the picture of your project to Facebook and see what other subscribers created!
Craft What?!? ships via USPS and arrived earlier in the month. I have been at a loss about what to do with this month’s supplies, so my review is a little delayed.
Hmm! I had no idea what the theme of all this would be. I get such a kick out of seeing the materials they include and trying to figure out what to do with it all.
The October 2014 Craft What?!? theme was “Cars” and was inspired by the Model T, which first went on sale on October 1, 1908. Here is what I ended up doing:
~Rear View Mirror Hanging Decorations: My first thought was to put together the included puzzle pieces and draw / decorate a car on it. However, that wouldn’t really have been “thinking outside the box”, so I ended up making decorations for inside your car. They pretty much turned out like a preschool craft project, but I thought the idea itself was pretty creative!!!
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on the October 2014 Craft What?!? box, but I did have a great time with it. It’s difference from all the other craft boxes because you don’t get an instructions. You have to figure out what you are creating yourself which makes it fun!

I tried to subscribe to this one, but had trouble checking out. I contacted them, and they said they would send me October’s box on them for my troubles, and that they would contact me when the site was working again. Which they did, only it wouldn’t let me pay still. I contacted them again about it and never got a response. Never got my box either. So I gave up on them. Kind of bummed, I love this type of thing!
