This week I am saying So What If….

~I actually googled those games Jimmy Fallon featured last night because I wasn’t sure if they were real or not. I thought no way these are real. Oh but they are!
~I am already super sick of listening to campaigns ads and the election is still a month away.
~I long for the day that I actually miss watching ONLY watching Thomas the Train dvds. Because listen, when WB gets to pick a dvd, it’s THOMAS.
~I am very concerned for Carrie’s baby on Homeland. I know it’s just a show, but still. Even Carrie must know that she can’t just throw the infant carrier on the front seat of the car and be on her way.
~I always consider setting my alarm for blood moons and that sort of thing and then never actually do.
~I gave Baxter a haircut yesterday and he’s been giving me the cold shoulder (or paw) ever since.  Sorry, but you look better.
~I was thrilled when L told me he’d FINALLY figured out how to get two pieces of pizza during lunch at school.  Something about a token from one lady that you give to the other lady who gives you the pizza that you take to another lady to pay for.  But whatever it is, he figured it out all on his own.  Go L!
~I feel like I need to use up an entire bottle of product even if I don’t love it.  It’s so silly, but I hate to waste it.

Oh my god, I HATE Thomas! My godson loves him and I’m so happy he’s starting to move onto other things – babysitting is much more fun now, lol.

THOMAS! I do like when Alec Bladwin is the narrator!

There are some shelters that will take used products. I had a whole box a while ago and called around until I found one that would take half used products.

    1. Jennifer

Oh really? I will have to check into that. Most places around here only take full sized new stuff!

Try women’s shelters. I also work right next to a homeless encampment so I wasn’t above just leaving my box out there, lol.

Did you ever watch Shining Time Station when you were a kid? It was Thomas & Friends and had some really awesome narrators/conductors- including George Carlin! Apparently it’s NOT on Netflix/Hulu or DVD though. 🙁 You can get the seasons? where Ringo Starr narrated on Amazon though http://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Friends-Early-Years-Season/dp/B001O0TMIQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412780007&sr=8-1&keywords=shining+time+station

It was one of my favorite shows growing up.. in addition to Pee Wee’s Playhouse, which I got some of my nieces watching when they were younger. My brother’s kids don’t even know who Pee Wee Herman is though!

I’m sick of the campaign ads too. Here in AZ, they are getting downright ugly. One candidate used video footage of a beheading in her attack ad against another candidate. And I’m getting sick of all the signs too, some of them block the vision of the road so you have to scoot out into hopefully no traffic.

N was all into Thomas but C doesn’t like it as much. Of course Cs new favorite is Barbie living in the Dreamhouse and Tinkerbells Pirate Fairy so maybe I would be happy with Thomas. LOL
Don’t get me started with the ads. I’m so over those and the phone calls. They are horrible. What I do find funny is the Clay Aiken ones get me each time and I always have to look up. I guess I just know his voice or something. LOL

Is Barbie Living a tv show??

      1. Jenny

I guess so. It’son Netflix and popped up as something you may like after watching Pirate Fairy one day. It isn’t in Itunes. We looked to download one onto his Ipad but no go. 😉 (I’m not upset about that) LOL but he asks to watch it all the time when he gets to pick the show.

My kids like Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse and the Pirate Fairy movie too! Much more interesting than Thomas (which is SUPER boring in my opinion).

      1. Jennifer

It’s SUPER boring when you have seen them all 1000 times. But even the new ones you pretty much know the plot without watching. Someone gets assigned a job, there is a little drama, Sir Top Hamhat isn’t happy, they work together and fix it. Everyone is happy!

The way you feel about Thomas is the way I am starting to feel about Monsters University. Every once in awhile, I can convince my little to watch another movie — usually Frozen or Ratatouille, but every single day. Without fail. Monsters University. It’s driving me CRAZY

    1. Jennifer

That is exactly the same way I feel about Thomas!!!

  6. Eve

I need to see Baxter’s new haircut! How did you come up with his name? It just sounds so cute.

    1. Jennifer

      It’s on Instagram!

I have so many things that are half-used that I feel bad about throwing away. I keep getting vitamin C serums free to review on Amazon. I like a lot of them but I can’t say “no” to offers of free stuff, so I have like 6 of them right now. (I use them for a couple of weeks, then write a review.) I have this mascara I hate but I can’t even bring myself to throw THAT away. I’ve only used it 3 times. But I paid for it!

I don’t know why I have this problem with cosmetics. I definitely don’t have it with food (I go on a cleaning binge and get rid of old jars and things from the refrigerator every now and then).

I am SO the same way. Half used condiments, juices, whatever. Gone. But products? I just can’t.
