First Look

I had peeked at spoilers for this box (I love this box so how could I not), but I was really curious to see which variation(s) I received. I didn’t have a preference, I just wanted to know ;).

The Information Card

The October 2014 Little Lace Box theme was “Accessorize for Your Night Out” and included the following items to help you look fabulous at any party:

~Elizabeth Clutch ($47.99): The more I look at this, the more I like it.  It’s not an everyday bag, but for special occasions, a cocktail party, etc. I can totally see it working!

~Sterling Silver Modern Earrings designed by AliReznikoff ($14): Love these!  They are very simple and lightweight, yet they still make a statement.

~Painted Earth Lip Gloss ($6.50): This gloss is about half the size as a “normal” gloss, so it really is perfect for throwing in your little clutch or whatever! The color is gorgeous and it’s not sticky at all!

~Go Comb ($9.99): This is a fancy comb!  I will for sure be throwing this in my wallet.  Not just for cocktail parties, but for everyday use as well.

~Splendid Dirt Mask by FarmHouse Fresh ($20): I am a HUGE fan of the FarmHouse Fresh line and this is a product I have never tried before.  This is the kind of mask I love.  It goes on smooth and your skin gets a little tingly when you use it.  I could see a difference in my skin after just one use (it felt softer and brighter) and will definitely be using this weekly.

~Whoopie Cream Body Wash & Bubble Bath by FarmHouse Fresh ($7.07): This was the “Bonus” item I received this month!  Every subscriber got a bonus and it should come as no surprise that I love the one I received.  I am obsessed with the Whoopie Cream scent from FHF and this is just fantastic.

All totaled I came up with a value of $105.55 for the October 2014 Little Lace Box.  I gotta tell you, this box is knocking it out of the park.  They just started a few months ago and have been putting together amazing boxes since they started.  I beyond impressed by them and they have already moved up the list as one of my favorite boxes.  The October Little Lace Box is sold out, but the November box is still available!  The theme is “More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came” and will feature some great thematic finds for you and your home. I absolutely cannot wait!

Those earrings are very unique I have never seen anything like them! I hope I don’t sound crazy asking but do you just put them stright through you earhole? LOL

I believe October is sold out so you’d be getting the November box. Here is the hint from their site for this box:
?More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came.?

It will include some really great thematic finds for you AND your home. It will also come in an ugly oversized box, because there are those times when we just can?t agree on what to eliminate from a box, and when that happens, it?s just easier to send a bigger box.

It will also ship earlier in the month, because so many of us travel over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

This was my first Little Lace Box and I am already in love. I received the Nancy cross body clutch http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=782083&U=671418&M=61975&urllink=/product/nancy-cross-body-clutch/, totally not something I would normally choose but I love it! The Elizabeth variation is gorgeous too! This box is quickly becoming my favorite too. I am so excited to see the November box, I love the poem that hint comes from. Eekk holiday fun! I was also super excited to read this month the boxes will be shipping a tad bit earlier. Another reason I love this box are the personal touches in each box. The customer service are also on point and really put thought into making it the best possible experience for every single customer. Thank you Little Lace Box! You rock! Thanks for the review Jennifer (I’ve been waiting to see your thoughts on this month, your previous reviews were the reason I subscribed 🙂 )

Do it do it lol. It’s quickly gaining the title of best box and I love that it feels like they put alot of thought and little touches into it. I mean it’s a small detail but having the customers name on the info card is huge to me. Those little things add up. Hope u take the plunge and love it.

Loved everything in the box except for the clutch. Would definitely order if it were still available. Afraid of holiday themed boxes because my idea of cute and what comes from most of these boxes couldn’t be further apart.

I love this box! I received the Nancy Cross Body Clutch which I think is beautiful and am glad that it came with a chain. I will be using it often in the next few months. I also think the other clutch is gorgeous too. The clutch is well-made, it’s lined, and it came with a couple extra gems. The lip gloss smells minty. I find myself reaching it more often because of the minty smell. I haven’t tried the dirt mask because I am not sure how long they last once open. I have 2 masks open right now. My extra is the Spongelle Beyond Cleansing french Lavender Infused Body Wash buffer which I will be taking with me next week to the conference/mini-vacation.

I’m also impressed with all the little details such as the note, having my name on the card, shipping cost (I’m always curious about those type of things).

I can’t wait for the November box. I love the poem that the line is from and ordered a box for my sister. I hope the home item is a pillow or throw. I keep checking online to see.

Getting this box is like having a really cool
sister or best friend who lives in another city and sends you amazing presents every month.

I’m not sure I would have been able to use the clutch (because I rarely go to fancy parties), but it looks gorgeous. The curation of this box is wonderful and including Farmhouse Fresh. . .nice!

Farmhouse Fresh is *amazing* and there’s nothing from this company that I haven’t tried and loved. The Splendid Dirt is a fantastic mask and I love that you can actually feel it working. Even with the tingling, it somehow manages to calm any redness, all while making my skin soft and glowing. I also like the Pajama Paste mask (oatmeal/yogurt)!

  • Veronica

Wow, I don’t like a lot of boxes. I often feel that they have 1 or 2 items and the rest are items I’d either never use or just don’t really like. I actually liked everything in there. The earrings are super lovely. I have seen similar styles to them before and they’re always a hit with me.
