My December 2014 BOXYCHARM has arrived! I have subscribed for about six months now and while some months are certainly better than others, I have been happy overall.
If you aren’t familiar, BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.
BOXYCHARM ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by USPS) and took about four days to arrive this month.
I thought I knew what was in this box when I opened it, but I realized that there were a few items that I knew only the brands for, not the actual items themselves. So there still was an element of surprise in here.
The December 2014 BOXYCHARM theme is “Jingle Belles” and included the following items that are sure to make you jolly:
~Coastal Scents Revealed Palette ($19.95): Love this! There are twenty different shades and if you can’t find a color in here that works for you, well, I don’t know what to say!
~Lina Lashes Luxury Mink Lashes ($30): I never wear false eyelashes, but I have a few girlfriends who are obsessed with them! So I save all mine for them and they love it. I should actually just have them show me how to perfectly apply them and then maybe I too would love them.
~Mistura Beauty Solutions Retractable Beauty Brush ($19.99): I love this brush! I love that it’s retractable and has a cap so it can easily be thrown in a travel or makeup bag. It’s also super soft!
~Be A Bombshell Lip Crayon (Shameless) ($14): I don’t know how many variations in products or colors there were, but I know that everyone received a Be A Bombshell lip product. I am happy I got a lip crayon and not a lipstick that’s for sure. If you got a lip crayon, was it twisted up into the cap? Every time I get a BAB lip crayon it’s like that!
~Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo ($7): I don’t know if it’s the pink bottles or the fun labels or what, but I love when this brand pops up in subscription boxes! I am going to work on trading for all the products from this brand that came in BOXYCHARM this month!
All totaled I came up with a value of $90.98 for the December 2014 BOXYCHARM! That’s an amazing value since the box itself is only $21/month! Even though I will be passing along the lashes which were the most expensive thing in this box, I am still super happy with it and really liked the variety in this one.
