December 2014 Danklo

Danklo, who kindly sent me this box to review, sends you personalized gift boxes full of unique and useful goodies. Every month you will also receive a random amount of money in your box. It could be anywhere from $1 to $1,000 dollars!  Danklo offers the following three different boxes: The Standard Box ($11.99) – Includes 1-2 gifts per month plus a cash prize, The Pro Box ($14.99) – Includes 1-3 gifts per month plus a cash prize or the Prime Box ($17.99) – Includes 1-5 gifts per month plus a cash prize.

The Box

Danklo ships via USPS. You can expect to receive your first box 2-8 days after subscribing. However, the next month – and every month thereafter – your gift will be shipped on the 20th and should arrive anywhere between two and eight days after that.

First Look

I had absolutely no idea what to expect from this box. No idea at all. The box was super heavy which had me even more intrigued by it. And when I opened it up I still had no clue at all what was in it!

The Information Guide

Danklo box includes an information booklet which details what is included in the box. I am guessing (?) everyone’s boxes are different, but this is what my “Prime” (aka the $17.99/month option) included:

~Eegee’s Air Freshener ($1): I am not familiar with Eegee’s (they are in Tuscon, AZ), but from the sounds of it, it’s a place I would like.  They serve shaved ice with chunks of fresh fruit in it.  Yum!  And this air freshener will help make your car or home or wherever smell like it!

Eegee’s Air Freshener

~Kinetic Sand (~$5): I love kinetic sand!  It’s fun for all ages and it doesn’t make a mess.  Unlike regular sand kinetic sand sticks together and is easy to clean up.  My kids love it and I find it very relaxing to play with.

Kinetic Sand

~Mini Bluetooth Speaker (~$10): I am not sure what the brand is on this, so I estimated the price.  I will for sure use this in my office with my iPhone!

Mini Bluetooth Speaker

~Cash ($4): And finally, the cash!  My box had $4 in it and you would have thought I won the lotto.  I have never gotten cash in a subscription box before (I think Danklo might be the only one who does this), so I was thrilled.

Cash

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $20 for my December 2014 Danklo box.  I thought this box was super fun and I loved that I literally had no idea what would be inside this box!
