FrenchBox is a subscription box that brings you personalized chic products, accessories and delicacies from France every month. It contains 5 products from French brands: fashion, cosmetics, gourmet and others surprises!

The Box

FrenchBox ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just two days to arrive.  I’m a big fan of Priority Mail and don’t find that subscription boxes who use it to ship probably code a few dollars more than other boxes.

The FrenchBox

The FrenchBox boxes themselves are gorgeous.  They are the size and quality of a GLOSSYBOX, but obviously have the FrenchBox logo on them.

The FrenchBox is really fun one to unbox.  The presentation is top notch and everything feels very fancy and luxurious.

The Information Card

The December 2014 FrenchBox included the following items to help you rise to the holiday season with impeccable makeup and a sparkling look:

~L’Atelier du Maquillage Eyebrow Maintenance Kit ($44): I didn’t understand at first what use the “Blond” kit would be when I have brown eyebrows.  I think most (everyone?) got blond which didn’t make much sense at first.  Well, per an e-mail they sent, they included Blond kits because the gel in those is clear.  That makes sense!  Now that I know that I love this kit and plan to make good use out of it fixing the mess that my eyebrows have turned into.

~Lanvin Body Lotion ($24):  Not my favorite scent, but it feels fancy and I will use it as a hand lotion.  I can’t get enough hand lotion in the winter.

~Headband ($9): This doesn’t seem French to me, but maybe I’m missing something?  It may have seemed more French if the tag didn’t say “My Accessories” in English on it.  Don’t get me wrong though, I think it’s super cute and I will totally use it.

~French Factory French Delicacies ($6): I would have preferred French chocolates, but that’s just me.  LOL!  There is an assortment of biscuits and nougats in there which were good, but not overly amazing.

~Mauboussin a la folie perfume sample (~$2): Oh la la!  I like!  This scent has notes of champagne, raspberry, rose petals and caramel and is very very nice!  Of course, it’s also $103 for a full-size bottle, so I just have to ration my sample.

~FrenchBox Christmas Tree Ornament ($6): I am always down for a new Christmas ornament, so this is fun!  I have it on my tree already.

All totaled I came up with a value of $91 for the December 2014 FrenchBox.  Not a bad deal at all considering that I paid $24 for it!  I liked the variety they included and hope that they continue with some of the more lifestyle like items in addition to the beauty ones!

Did you get FrenchBox this month?  What variations did you receive and what’d you think?  If you are interested in signing up (remember you can get your first box for only $14 using the coupon code “LVYI9GNZK9” at checkout) head on over to their site where you can also see some of the brands they will be featuring down the road.
