Little Lace Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out.
Little Lace Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took three days to arrive this month. I love that they use Priority Mail because I know it won’t take too long to get to me.
I was so excited to see what would be included in the December 2014 Little Lace Box and had to peek at spoilers on MUT yesterday. And it made me even more excited for this box to come.
The December 2014 Little Lace Box theme was “A Fresh New Start” and was described in the information sheet as one of the most disconnected boxes you will ever see from Little Lace Box. But it’s disconnected because each of the pieces in the box were selected because they mean something special to each of the sisters behind Little Lace Box. What they have in common, however, is that they help trigger something in each of them that makes them want to jump out of bed each morning and do something extraordinary. And who couldn’t use that as we jump into the New Year? Here is what was included:
~A Fresh Start Fresh Water Pearl Necklace (Little Lace Box exclusive) ($49): Ohh, I didn’t realize at first that the pearls on her were different sizes! That makes me like it even more. So pretty! This piece was selected for the box not just because it’s beautiful, but also because it’s a daily reminder that you are amazing. The ladies who started “A Fresh Start” took a chance on something they believed in and so can all of us!
~Stia Couture Fresh Water Pearl Bracelet ($35): Ohh, I love this. And I think it’s going to be even prettier if I stack it with a few other pieces that I have. It’s delicate, but not so much so that you’d be worry about it breaking if you wear it. It’s meant to be a “mix & match” piece and was chosen because the story behind the Stia inspired Taylor (one of the sister’s behind Little Lace Box).
~Whitney English Mini Day Designer ($49): I have quite an obsession with planners and have always wanted to try a Whitney English one. Who am I kidding, I want to try them all. The best part about this one is that it’s undated, so you don’t have to use it every day / week if you don’t want to and can just jot things down as needed. It’s super sturdy and of course, super stylish!
~Three Sisters Apothecary Soap (California Mission Fig & Honey) ($3.99): This is Aubrey’s pick and was inspired by her love of fragrances. It smells amazing and I will be using this in the new year!
All totaled I came up with a value of $137 for the December 2014 Little Lace Box. No, it’s not as amazing as the November box, but how could it be? I mean seriously. But I still absolutely love this. Two gorgeous pieces of jewelry, a great smelling soap and a planner I probably would have bought anyway? Awesome!
