The Bride Box, who sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail. It sometimes ships via First Class Mail and sometimes via Priority Mail.
I didn’t receive November’s box to review so I had almost forgotten just how cute this box was! I love it! For whatever reason my December The Bride Box didn’t include an information card, but here is what was inside:
~Bride to Be 2015 Champagne Glass ($22): Not only did this glass arrive in perfect condition, it also remained in perfect condition even after I knocked it over on my tile floor while I was taking some pictures. Oops! The glass is thick and would be a fun item for bridal showers and bachelorette parties!
~Jen Ramey Designs Mr. & Mrs. Ornament ($7.50): This is already on my tree! The Bride Box has sent items from Jen Ramey Designs before and I have always enjoyed them. She makes good stuff!
~Crafts GaLaura Bracelet ($10): It took me a minute to understand the name of this business, but now that I do I think it’s so clever! And I think the bracelet is fabulous. I am always in awe when any subscription box personalizes boxes to this level. It’s very impressive and The Bride Box has done it a few times!
~Thank you Card Selection (~$10): I swear we have gotten these in a Bride Box in the past and I cannot figure out which month it was! It was a while ago though so subscribers back probably aren’t subscribers now so it wouldn’t be a duplicate.
~Tips: Every month The Bride Box also includes a little card with some wedding tips and suggestions. This month’s is all about the cake. I don’t know about you, but I love wedding cakes. I used to waitress at a country club and we hosted TONS of weddings. Tons. And I would always check out their cake. Some, like the information card suggests, were “fake” and only had one real layer for the bride and groom to cut into. And then there were piles of sheet cake in the back which got served. Some actually had giant fancy cakes that fed 300 people. Guess what? Basically no one ever knew the difference between the sheet cake and the fancy $10/slice cake.
All totaled I came up with a value of $49.50 for the December 2014 The Bride Box. I thought this box was cute and I really really like that bracelet! That’s an awesome gift for any friend, not just for your bridesmaids!
