November 2014 meowbox

meowbox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for cats. Each meowbox will come with 5 or more goodies that can include such things as salmon jerky treats, organic cat nip toys, a fashionable bow tie, or a self-grow cat grass kit.

The Box

meowbox ships via USPS Priority Mail. If you sign up for your subscription by 5:00 pm PST on the last day of the month, your meowbox will ship on the 15th of the following month (or the next soonest business day).

First Look

I do not have cats (they make my eyes itch), but my brother has three (Bert, Mooch and Brad), so the folks at meowbox addressed the box to them!

The Information Card

The November 2014 meowbox included the following items:

~Holistic Select Indoor Health / Weight Control: My brother’s cats are all indoor cats and have probably consumed this sample of cat food with carrots, turkey, chicken and herring. Baxter and Buddy tried to talk me into keeping it (they love cat food), but I didn’t give in.

Holistic Select Indoor Health / Weight Control

~Sprong – Cat Coil ($4.19): I think that the most important thing about this toy is that it’s noise free, so when you your cat is up playing with it in the middle of the night you won’t hear it.  LOL!

~From the Field – Stella the Cork Comet ($3.99): This is fun!  It’s a cork ball with different colored hemp twine!

~Waggers – My Little Lion Car Treat ($2.99): These cat treats are made with 40% red meat and were a big hit with my brother’s cats!  They approve!

~One Pet Planet – Wooly Fun Ball (~$7): I tried to test thing one out a little to see if any of the wool would come off, but none did which I was happy about.  I have a few dog toys made out of wool /felt and they have made the biggest mess.  My dogs love them (and I am sure the cats will too), but picking up piece of wool isn’t that amazing.

One Pet Planet – Wooly Fun Ball

~Categories Batnip Ball (~$4): If I was a cat, this would have been my favorite item in the box. It just looks fun doesn’t it?

~Canidae – Grain Free PURE Taste Treats ($3.19): These treats are made with fresh salmon and also help to clean teeth!  Again Baxter and Buddy wanted to keep these, but I wouldn’t let them!

While I don’t have a cat, I thought meowbox was a great box! There are so many dog boxes out there that it was so nice to see box designed specifically for cats for a change!
