The November 2014 Sauce Pack included the following items:

~Jehu Hot Sauce Smoked Apple (Hot): I am not a big hot sauce person so I am going to have to stick to telling you about the history behind these sauces instead of telling you how they taste.  Because to me, they would all taste hot.  Very very hot. Jehu started in 2012and is located in New Hampshire.  This sauce is perfect for roasts or pork and has cinnamon apple, cayenne, honey and chipotle.

~Chelsea Fire Wicked Hot Sauce: Of all the hot sauces in the pack, this one scares me the most!  When you have pictures of fire on your bottle, well you know it’s hot!  Chelsea Hot Sauce donates 5% of their sales to FireHero.org, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation!

~Howlin’ Hollar Hot Sauce with Pumpkin Flavor: I was almost tempted to sample this sauce myself because the pumpkin in it intrigued me, but I thought better of it.  It won won first at the “Hot Pepper Awards” and started in the Mount Washington Valley area in 2003.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I think that the $25 price tag is more than fair.  Each hot sauce would be about $8 per bottle and for bottles that you can’t get locally (at least I don’t think you can), that seems fair!

What do you think of Sauce Pack?  Are you a hot sauce fan?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, head over to their site and check them out!

Definitely a hot sauce fan! We eat ghost pepper hot sauce on practically everything. Will have to keep an eye on this one for sure- subscribing early scares me.

My brother would love this box. He has yet to find a sauce that is too hot for him. He eats hot sauce on everything. LOL

Really cool. The Chelsea Hot Sauce is a local fave here. It’s really nice to see them branching out of Mass. PS I am sad I cannot comment under my name. Disqus is not my fave,

Won’t it let you comment with whatever name you want when you do the “Guest” button? Or is it being all screwy?

Is it not letting you comment as a guest? You should be able to comment under whatever name you want?
