Angels' Cup Tasting Flight
January 2015 Angels’ Cup Tasting Flight

Angels’ Cup, who kindly sent me this Tasting Flight to review, is a fun new way to experience coffee. Each month (or week if you so choose) you will receive a tasting flight with four different samples of coffee. You can then head over to their App where you can add tasting notes about your samples and compare them with others.

The Package

Angels’ Cup shipped via USPS. They sent me a few packs to share, so I had B take them to work for everyone there to sample.

The Information Card

The information card includes notes on each of the samples included as well as the name of the roaster.  Here is what was included:

~Coffee Tasting #0052: This is by the roaster “Coffeed” and has notes of lemon, hibiscus, coffee blossom and sugarcane.

Coffee Tasting #0052

~Coffee Tasting #00033: The roaster on this one is “Neat Coffee” and it has notes of lemon, black currant, raisin, red wine and melon.  I would love to tell you what Bryan thought of the coffee and what notes he tasted, but all I ever get from him is that he “liked” it and that it was “good”.

Coffee Tasting #0003

~Coffee Tasting #0054: The roaster on this one is “Spotted Cow” and has notes of plum, grape, apple, raisin and cherry.  I should mention that each of these packs has beans for 5-7 cups of coffee and you can opt for whole bean, course grind or fine grind depending on your preference.

Coffee Tasting #0054

~Coffee Tasting #0053: This is another tasting pack by Coffeed, but this one has flavors of milk chocolate, cardamon, mango, cola and peanut.  I wish I would have kept this one at home to try because it sounds super intriguing and like something I would love!

Coffee Tasting #0053

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this, but I thought it was a really cool pack.  If you love the coffee you can easily find out where to buy more and if you don’t love it, well, you aren’t stuck with a giant bag.  You can just move on to the next!
