Heads up! January 2015 Birchbox boxes have been posted! Well, I guess they have been up for a few days in that other link I posted earlier in the week, but I am not sure everyone saw that. Anyway, if you want to know what you are getting this month, log into your account and click “Your Box” and then under Women, click “This Month’s Box” and you (should) be able to see the contents of your January 2015 box. I am receiving the following:
What are you getting in your Birchbox this month? Are you happy? I am very pleased with the TOCCA lotion (that’s the sample I picked) and the Stainiac, but the rest I need to see in person before I decide on!
Same box here. I’ll be happy with the shampoo and conditioner if it isnt foil packs. The perfume isnt very exciting to me, hoping it smells incredible though
It looked like they were pretty good sizes containers!
I actually already got mine yesterday. Overall I’m happy except 2 of the items I’ve gotten in a past Ipsy bag. At least I liked them.

I think this was my worst box ever. My pick this month was the Rosemary body lotion which I never dreamed would smell like Vick’s body rub. The Harvey Prince Sincerely is too sweet for me, and the Manna Kadar lip gloss (All of You) makes me look like a dead person. The Coola Matte moisturizer and Number 4 hair spray are alright, but overall, I am disappointed this month.

I’m getting the exact same box as you. And I’m not super excited considering this will be my 5th perfume sample in 6 months, boo! But I’m excited to try the shampoo and conditioner and hope they’re both a decent sized sample.
I too have gotten 4 perfume samples in 6 months time. I wish they would lay off them for a while!
Yeah, luckily I’ve liked 1 or 2 of them but still. And I even ended up with another one in one of my mystery sample packs which was a big letdown 🙁

I’m getting the same box as you and am quite disappointed so far. Like you I’m excited for the lotion since I’ve sampled it before but the rest is just meh. I really dislike the perfume samples as a whole but oh well. The sneak peaks they gave on instagram seemed so exciting but this box has none of the ones I would have liked. I really wanted to try one of their special boxes this month but both were sold out by the time I got my email….

How do you pick your samples? I only just signed up for Birchbox maybe 2-3 weeks ago, and received my first box last night for January. I didn’t have an option to pick anything… is that something that happens after you stick with the subscription for awhile?
My box came with hand cream, eyeliner, dry shampoo, liquid loofah body wash and a tiny thing of CC cream.
You will get a choice next month. The first box you receive is like a standard welcome box. Next month you will receive an e-mail allowing you to make your pick.
