January 2015 bluum

Today was a fantastic mail day and one of the many boxes that arrived was my (Well WB’s) January 2015 bluum box!

If you aren’t familiar, bluum (who acquired Stork Stack earlier this year), is a monthly box of goodies for moms and babies.  Products are hand selected based on your child’s age (from pregnancy to preschool), gender and developmental stage.

The Box

bluum ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive.  It generally arrives sometimes during the middle two weeks of the month.

First Look

Nothing looked familiar in here which was awesome.  I love when subscription boxes send things I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise!

The Card

The card included in the bluum box doesn’t include product information. Rather, that information is sent to you in a e-mail on the day that you receive your box.  WB’s January  bluum box was for a 37 month-old (*) and included the following items:

~eeboo Toys play masks – animal village ($13.99): At first I thought these were a craft item, but it turns out that they are ready to be used.  And they are very cute.

~Dot and Dash Lots of Love ($4.99): We love books around here.  And books with stickers?  Even better. I am going to save this as a little Valentine’s gift for WB.  I have little baskets for the boys put together a few small things for them every year.

~eeboo Toys – Valentine Cards – Collage ($5.99): I think these are adorable and I am thinking about having WB send out some Valentine’s this year.  L will pass out some to his friends, but maybe WB can too!

~Manhattan Toy Imagine I Can – Create-A-Puppet – Alligator ($3.95): Now this is a craft project!  I’ll save it for a freezing cold day where we don’t want to leave the house!

~Eau Thermale Avene Cold Cream Lip Cream ($16): Love this!  It’s totally my favorite item in the box this month.  It a great lip cream and it’s probably one of my favorite bluum mom gifts to date!

All totaled I came up with a value of $44.92 for the January 2015 bluum Box.  Everything in here was a new-to-me item and I loved that!  I think it was a great month!

(*) It’s a long story, but we used to get bluum ages ago when they just did those smaller sample sized boxes for 0-12 month olds. When WB was about 9 months, bluum launched their current box for ages 1+ and was still doing the sample boxes for babies 0-12 months old. I wanted to check out the new, bigger boxes for WB, so I aged him up a few months so he was 1. And he’s still aged up!
