January 2015 Dottiebox

Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a box curated every month for women. They feature high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. This review is for the full-sized Dottiebox, but the Dottiebox Mini review will come later on in the month.

The Box

Dottiebox ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive to me.  The full-size Dottiebox generally ships in the first half of the month with the Dottiebox Mini shipping in the later half of the month.

It’s freezing outside, but I knew this box was arriving in the mail so as soon as I saw the mailman I ran outside to get it.  Dottiebox always has the most creative items so I was excited to see what was included in this one.

The Information Card

The January 2015 Dottiebox was all about welcoming the New Year with the following sparkles and other items you are sure to love:

~Gracious Bee Greetings Easel Desktop Calendar ($11): How cute is this?  It’s a mini desktop calendar and has little cards for all of the months.  It’s about the size of my hand and I just love it.

~The Vinyl Company “Hello” Door or Wall Decal ($5.99): I am not totally sure where I am going to put this yet, but I do have some ideas.  I would love to paint the door in my garage red and then put this on.  That might just happen this winter.

~Cuppow Wide Mouth Jar Drinking Lid ($8.99): I have been thinking about buying a lid like this for mason jars for ages.  I was so happy to see it!  I am going to test it out tonight with a little fruit water!

~Running Blynd Decorative Clothespins / Thumb Tacks ($7.00): These glittered clothespins and tacks are great!  And I am pleased to report that when I touched them my hands didn’t instantly become coated in glitter.  I do not like when that happens at all!

All totaled I came up with a value of $33 for the January 2015 Dottiebox.  And I think it’s fair to say that this is my favorite Dottiebox to date.  Whatever my last favorite one was, this has surpassed it!  I absolutely loved this one.

Did you get a Dottiebox this month?  What’d you think? And did you get any variations?  If you are hoping to get this box, you are in luck because it’s still available!!  If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, click here.
