For the Faithful, who kindly sent me this to review, is a monthly subscription box full of Christian products delivered right to your door. You may receive items like a cool t-shirt (and we mean cool, something you’ll want to wear), books, DVDs, items for the house or garden, something brilliantly inspirational, or things for the kids.
For the Faithful ships via USPS on the 20th of the month. If you sign up by the 19th of the month you will receive that month’s box. If you sign up on the 20th or later, your subscription will begin with the following month’s box.
WB helped me unbox this one and right away saw something he had to have right away!
The January 2015 For the Faithful subscription box included the following items:
~Mornings with Jesus 2015 ($16.96): I have mentioned it before, but this isn’t a box I would get for myself, but I have a friend who absolutely loves it so I give her all of the items in the box. This book includes “365 short five-minute readings that help you rest and recharge”. I know she’ll read this every morning!
~Bible Cover ($13): This is pretty cool. It’s a nylon material and seems very sturdy, so it’s going to last a long time. I thought it was great that they included a black cover because it can be used by anyone.
~Bookmark ($4.99): You can use this to mark your page in the 365 Devotions book.
~Names of God Pamphlet ($3.99): This pamphlet (it’s actually a little fancier than a pamphlet really) offers an easy-to-use chart format for learning God’s names.
~Key Chain ($3.99): This is another item I know my friend will enjoy. It’ll be her new keychain next time I see her.
~Barney Plush & DVD ($9): B saw this and was like where did you get that? And he didn’t mean it in a good way. LOL. He’s not a Barney fan. The kids, however, have never watched a Barney DVD before and they were mesmerized. We’ll just make sure to play it when B isn’t home ;).
~Bonus Faith Card: Also included was a faith card. It’s actually a few cards which are perforated so you can take one or two with you, give them to a friend who you think would like it or whatever you wish!
All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $53 for the January 2015 For the Faithful box. I feel like they include very useful and practical items and I love that they include items for the little ones too!
What do you think of For the Faithful? They are offering up to 30% off subscriptions right now (which would make your first box $21.99 on a one-month subscription, so if you know someone you might enjoy this, I recommend checking them out!
