I am still catching up on a few reviews from the past week and one of those is the January 2015 Love With Food box.
If you aren’t familiar, Love With Food box members receive a curated box filled with 8+ unique gourmet food items. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months is even two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.
Love With Food ships via USPS and took just shy of a week to arrive this month. If you order by the 1st of the month your box will arrive that month. If you order after the 1st, it will arrive the following month. Orders placed today will begin with the February box which ships around the 10th of February.
They sure can pack a lot of snacks in these Love With Food boxes. I remember the first time I received this box I was shocked at how small it was. But they certainly do fill it up.
The January 2015 Love With Food theme was “Live.Laugh.Restore.” and included the following items:
~Dark Chocolate Cacao Nibs by Britt: I wasn’t as big of a fan as of these as I expected to be. They might have just been too bitter? Not sure.
~Chocolate Dipped Coconut Mini by LUNA:I love Luna bars. This is one of my favorite flavors too. Actually, they are all really good.
~Energy Kettle Cooked Apples by Big Slice: I can’t handle the texture on these. That’s just me though. I know a to of people really like these.
~Somersaults by Somersault Snack Company: Now these I like. These are crunchy and every flavor I have tried has been great.
~Breakfast in Paris Tea Black Tea by Stash: Since I don’t like tea, I will be passing this along to my cousin to drink. She’ll love it.
~Cassava Pops by Wai Lana: These are awesome. I didn’t find them to be overly salty, but they still had a nice flavor to them.
~Velvet Truffles by Alter Eco: L tried this one and wasn’t a fan. He couldn’t really explain why he didn’t like it, but he said wasn’t into it. I wish I would have tried it because I would love to know what’s not to like about a Velvet Truffle!
~In-Shell Almonds by Bobalu: These are a B item. He’ll be taking them to work to snack on.
This wasn’t my favorite Love With Food box to date, but it did have a nice variety of items in it which I appreciated. There really was something for everyone in here!
