MunchPak, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly food subscription service and ecommerce website that aims to introduce the best, new, and popular snacks from all over the world to the average Joe. MunchPak offers two different sized packs – the Original MunchPak ($24/month) which includes 12+ full-sized snacks each month and the Family MunchPak ($42/month), which includes 22+ full-sized snacks.
MunchPak ships packages twice a week, so it shouldn’t take too long for your Pak to arrive. Packs are shipped in a variety of ways depending on where you are located, but mine shipped via USPS.
I received the Original MunchPak to review and it was packed full of snacks! MunchPak doesn’t include an information card on the products in the box (although I wish they would) however, if you want more about the snacks included in MunchPak boxes, you can find it here.
~KitKat Chunky (White): I am not sure if these are sold here in the States? If they are I have never seen them. It’s a thicker version of a KitKat, but with white chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
~Mincher Strawberry Wafer: These are from Taiwan and are really good. I am a big fan of wafer cookies and really wanted to snack on this yesterday.
~Sherbet Fountain: If I had to compare this to something, it would be fundip. With a little less sugar though. Maybe. I am going to save this for the weekend for L. It’s probably not the best before bedtime snack ;).
~Wellmade Tea Biscuits: Whoever thought to call cookies biscuits is genius in my opinion. No, I am not having cookies, I am having biscuits! It sounds much more proper.
~Smoki: I have tried these a bunch of times in the past and I am just not sure how I feel about them. They are….different. Like of like a peanut flavored corn pop? I am going to give them to my brother and see what he thinks.
~Tayto (Cheese & Onion): B was here yesterday when the mail arrived and helped me go through this open. I think these are the ones he wanted to try most. They do sound really really good.
~Jelly Bean Chocolate Dips: Wait. I didn’t know they made chocolate covered Jelly Beans! It loos like they have been around for a bit too. L jus going to love them.
~Goo Goo Cluster: Wait. I am pretty sure that B wanted to eat this one too. They are excellent and just looking at the picture makes me hungry for one.
~Tortica Original: Mmm, this looks incredible as well. I will be saving this one in case of an “emergency”.
~Marshmallow Rice Treats: This is probably weird, but I actually like packaged rice crispy treats between than homemade ones. Well, at least better than ones I made myself.
~Trancetto: Trancetto is sponge cake with chocolate filling. I have tried them somewhere before and they are just as good as they sound.
~Plaisir Milk: Again, I would like to snack on these right this second, but I will not be. Getting a snack box isn’t quite as much fun when you are trying not to eat any of these yummy treats!
~Corn Snack: I have no ideas what this is. This is why I need an information card! All I can tell is that it’s non-GMO. And I am guessing it’s got corn in it.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but the snacks work out to be less than $2 per item which sounds about right to me. This box had a lot of great variety and included a lot of snacks that were new to me which is always fun (even if I can’t try them)!

Are those smoki things from Germany? Because a friend who lives there visited for the holidays and brought something that was like a cheese puff but peanut flavored and it looks kind of like that. They were super weird. I think if I could have gotten “peanut flavored cheese puff” out of my head, I might have liked them. But my American brain just couldn’t deal.
I know exactly what you’re talking about!! I think the ones I had were called Curly or something like that but yeah, it was a peanut flavored not-cheese puff! My American brain also could not get past that part and I just couldn’t enjoy them. 😀 At least I’m not the only one!
That corn snack thing is soooo weird! It’s a cripsy stick but tastes exactly like creamed corn…not quite sure who came up with that idea ha
