My Pretend Place, who kindly sent me this box to review, offers a monthly Craft Subscription Box for children ages 3-8. The box includes materials and instructions they need to create a new pretend play item each month.  They also offer a quarterly Dress Up Play subscription (you can check out my review on that one here) box for children aged 3-6. Each box includes dress-up costumes, activities or crafts, and other pretend play inspiration.

The Box

I thought the Dress-Up subscription was so adorable that I just wouldn’t wait to see what this craft was.  I gifted that box to a friend who has a 3 year-old girl and was hoping that I could do the same with this craft.

The Card

The My Pretend Place craft subscription included a little note to your Princess explaining the craft.  It also had a little story behind the craft to go along with the pretend play factor.

~Princess Fan Craft: This month’s “Girl” craft was a Princess Fan.  The instructions were very clear and seemed very easy to follow.  I have a 6 year-old boy who looked them over and confirmed he could have done it alone.  There are enough materials to make two fans, so you could do one with your little one or siblings could work on it together!  My 6 year-old didn’t want to make this craft, so I decided to save it for a friend to do with her daughter.  I could have done it alone, but I didn’t want to waste it.

If you are interested in subscribing to My Pretend Place you can use the coupon code “pretend” to save 30% off your first box which brings the cost down to only $10.50!  I like the idea of doing the Dress-Up subscription quarterly and then the craft boxes in the in-between months!
