The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!

The Box

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail and generally arrives during the first week of the month.

First Look

Everything was packed in a cardboard box with the actual Orange Glad Box and one other item which didn’t fit inside in it.

Second First Look

The January Orange Glad box was a different size than all of the others I have received.  This was a flat rectangle while they are usually in square boxes.  Not a big deal and it doesn’t really mean anything, but it looked different, so I wanted to mention it.

The Information Card

The January 2015 Orange Glad box included the following items:

~Sugardaddy’s Auburn Original Brunette Brownie: Of all the snacks in the box, this is the one I most wanted to try.  But I resisted temptation and let L try it!  He said it tasted “different” than a regular brownie, but in a good way.  Now that I am reading more into the information card I realize it has a hint of expresso beans in it.  That explains that!

~Gourmet Biscotti Vagabond Biscotti: This vanilla biscotti is filled with white chocolate pieces and toasted hazelnut.  I sent this off to work with B to put in their treat basket!

~Mighty Brittle Orange Blossom Brittle:  Mighty Brittle is made with maple syrup from the loka Valley Farm and each bite bite is “bursting” with orange flavor.  This one didn’t tempt me like some of the others in this box did, so I was okay with sending it off with B.

~Sucre Macbubl: So this one I am saving for myself.  It’s to be enjoyed within 10 months, so that’s plenty of time. It’s a french style almond macron cookie surrounded by a smooth chocolate ganache and a enrobed in a crispy dark chocolate layer.  How amazing does that sound?

~Donsuemor Chocolate Dipped Madeleine: I have gotten these in the past (in Love with Food maybe) and am always shocked at how soft it is.  These are really good!

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but it’s a fun way to try a bunch of new goodies without ending up with a ton of each!  However, I am trying to eat better in the new year, so I am probably going to let this one go for a few months.  It’s just too tempting ;).
