Just a few random things tonight…
~Target’s next designer collaboration is with Lilly Pulitzer! OMG! It’s set to launch on 4.19 and will include 250 pieces of apparel, accessories, beauty, and home decor with prices ranging from $2 to $150 (with nearly 200 items under $30). This collection is going to be crazy and I am guessing it’s going to sell out FAST! They haven’t released pictures of the full collection yet, but you can see some of the items on Instagram. Is it April yet???
~The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 starts tonight. It’s going to be a weird season with Diem and Knight having passed since the show taped, but I am still excited to watch it. Am I getting old or is 11pm kind of late to put this show on? Geez MTV! I can’t watch it “live” anyway and I will admit I stay up way later than that, but what show starts at 11pm other than the local news?
~B and I started the Advocare 24-Day Challenge today. I don’t know what else to tell you about that other than I am a tad crabby. LOL. B is too. No coffee. No Diet Pepsi. I will say that I am loving my “free” shaker cup though. It’s pretty neat. Hey, would anyone ever want to do a DietBet? Or do you know of one starting at the end of the month? I’d like to keep eating better after the Challenge is over and I think that would help a ton!
~In other collaboration news, Starbucks has launched another adorable tumbler from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet. I don’t know if I like it as much as I like the last collaboration they did, but then again I haven’t seen it in person?
~And finally, if you missed it earlier, January 2015 PopSugar Must Have Spoilers are out! If you don’t want to peek but want to know a little bit about the box and what to expect, I will say that the general consensus is that it’s a good, solid box with a value of $136.18!
How excited are you for the Target collaboration? Anything else going on we should be discussing here?
SO excited about the target collaboration, especially after shopping so much at the Lilly after party sale yesterday. Dangerous that the more I get the more I want. I wonder if it will launch online at midnight on the 18th? Or they will probably announce that closer to the launch date.
I feel like previous launches have been at 3am on the day the sale starts? So like 12am PT on the 19th??? And then the stores will have it at 8am.
I just saw the collection for Target and I’m so excited. It is a huge amount of product and I love Lilly stuff. Its so not me but I can’t help but look at it.
I cannot wait. I am so anxious to see it all.
Ive done diet bets, 3 of them i think! I like them, and id do more, but i am always shocked by the cut they take! I realize they have to take something, but generally i just break even by winning! (i actually had someone leave a really nasty comment to me when i did a jillian michaels diet bet and posted that i thought id win more because only half of the people made the goal!) so if you want to make money by losing weight, dietbets are kind of lame, but if you want the motivation of not losing money… Then theyre perfect!
They take like 25% don’t they?? That does seem like a lot! Yeah, I guess it would be more about not losing money. How much was the “buy-in” and how much did you win?
Here is an example of my current DietBet payouts for the 6 month transformer dietbet I’m in. I did the up front $125 buy in (breaks down to $12.50/month for month 1-5 and $62.50 for month 6. They pay outs aren’t huge but they are enough to make you not want to lose what you put in.

You made my night with the Lilly news. I am lucky enough to live near Philadelphia, so I get to hit the Lilly warehouse sale every year, but more Lilly never hurt anyone!
How amazing is the warehouse sale?
The sale is crazy good, but it’s also plain crazy! You wait in line forever, and once you get in it’s a frenzy! Women grabbing everything, and stripping down in the middle of the floor to try things on, it’s kind of funny. The deals are pretty Faboulous though, I always leave with quite the haul. Have you ever been to it?
Never! It sounds bananas. And fun! I have been to a few J Crew ones like that and they too were crazy!

I’d love to be excited for the target collection but our target is closing at the end of the month and I’m still healing from the heartbreak of it! I realize I can drive 12 miles to Saginaw or a few more to Midland but its just not the same as having it 1.5 miles from me. So when I make to saginaw in April I will have to check it out and see if they have any of it left!

I am 22 and 11 o’clock is totally late! The challenge is usually at 10… anyway,of course I knew about Diem and I knew another male had passed after her, but I did not know who until I watched the episode and could not stop the tears. So heartbreaking.
So sad ;(. I am going to try and watch during nap time!

I can’t stay away from Target as it is! Serious spending there… with Lilly, and more and more cute things…it is only going to get worse!!!
I can let you know if the group I’m in does another DietBet in February! We more than likely will. The cut isn’t bad, the first one I did I put in $25 and came out with $44. It really all depends on how many people are in the group and how many do well. They guarantee that you at least get your $25 back, even if that means they don’t get their cut. It really is good motivation! I’m doing a 1 month and 6 month right now. I also love that tumbler, I need to see if they have them in Canada!

The 6 month one you need to lose 10%. It costs $25 if you pay per month, or $125 if you pay it all at once.
I’m in the middle of two overlapping 6-month dietbets and one 1-month dietbet. I love these things, so motivating!!

The diet bet sounds interesting. I joined WW and lost 15lbs, but then the holidays hit, and I just can’t seem to get motivated again. Maybe cash on the line would do the trick.
