Citrus Lane February 2015 Subscription Box Review
Citrus Lane February 2015

We received one of our two February 2015 Citrus Lane boxes in the mail today!  I get a box for WB who is 2.5 and then have another box I get for a 4.5 year-old boy.  The differences in the ages gives me a good variety between the boxes and generally the items in the 4.5 year-old box (which is this box) work for both WB and L (he’s 6)!

If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 years old which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. Citrus Lane is $29/month, but they always have great coupon codes that let you try them out very inexpensively!

The Box

Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post.  They used to ship out of California, but it appears that they now ship out of Las Vegas.  It still took about a week to get my box, but I thought I’d note the change.

First Look

I didn’t know which age group this box would be for before I opened it up and it took me a minute to realize it as the 4.5 year-old box!

The Information Card

My information card was totally wrong.  It was NOT for the box I received.  I am guessing that this was card for maybe a 1-2 year old?  No matter, here is what my February 2015 Citrus Lane box contained:

~Hape Lacing Skate (Red) ($9.99): We were able to select between a blue skate or a red skate this month.  We opted for Red.  It’s used to help your little one to tie their shoes and littler ones (like WB) just like to push it around!

Hape Lacing Skate

~Barefoot Books “I Could Be, You Could Be” ($6.99): Super cute book that L is able to read all on his own!  It also has some instructions in the back to make your own masks to act out some of the scenes in the book.

I Could Be, You Could Be

~Tegu Magnetic Wooden Triangles ($15): We have some Tegu blocks and while they are super cool, they are also super expensive, so we don’t have a ton.  They are magnetic and you can make all sorts of cool things with them.  We will be adding these toy the ones we have and now we’ll be able to make even more cool things.  I may even try and trade for more of these.  They are fantastic and will last for ages.

Tegu Magnetic Wooden Triangles

~Yummy Earth Sour Beans ($3.34): I am going to save these for L’s lunch when he heads back to school next week.    He’s had them before and totally loves them!

Sour Beans

All totaled I came up with a value of $35.32 for the February 2015 Citrus Lane box.  I got an awesome deal on my subscription and pay about $15/month so I am thrilled with this!  I think this is a box you need to do a longer subscription for because you get SUCH a better deal!

Did you get a Citrus Lane this month?  What age did you get and what came in your box?  If you are interested in subscribing, click here and use coupon code “SEUSS” to get 30% off your first box plus a FREE Dr. Suess Mealtime Set (an $18.50 value)! This offer expires on 2.28.15 and you will be enrolled in a monthly subscription (which you can always cancel if you are not happy), but it’s an amazing way to try them out!
