February 2015 Fabletics Subscription Review
February 2015 Fabletics

Yesterday was a fantastic mail day around here!  One of the many subscription boxes to arrive was my February 2015 Fabletics outfit.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95.   And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Bag

Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post out of Ohio.  Once my package shipped this month it took just three days to arrive to me.

First Look

All Fabletics pieces come in individually sealed packages and also include a packing slip.  I opted for the “Ocean Drive” outfit this month which included the following pieces:

~Andrea Shrug ($39.95 / $59.95): This is a lot thinner than I expected it to be.  It would probably be a good item to keep in your gym bag or at the office for when it’s way too cold in there. You can wear it open for more of a cardigan / shrug look or zipped for more jacket type look.  I do wish that the zipper didn’t stand out so much. You can’t see it in the picture below (you can see it here), but it’s pretty bold. I would have preferred a plain black zipper.

Andrea Shrug

~Aventura Tank ($15.95 / $29.95): I have a bunch of these tanks and they are great.  Layer them under a jacket or tee, wear alone, use them as sleep tops, whatever. They are soft and comfortable and I love them.

~Salar Capri (Impulse Print Pink) ($44.95 / $64.95): Aren’t these fun? I wanted them in a legging version, but they don’t offer that (yet), so capris it is.  Salar leggings and capris are fantastic and I find them to run fairly TTS, if not a little big.

Using VIP pricing I came up with a value of $100.85 for the February 2015 Fabletics “Ocean Drive” outfit. Non-VIP pricing would have brought the value up to $154.85.  However, I only paid $79.95 since I have the VIP Membership and bought the entire outfit (instead of just individual pieces).  I’ve spent more than $80 on workout pants (and Juicy sweats back in the day) alone, so to get an entire outfit for that price makes me feel like I am “saving” money!

What do you think of Fabletics?  Something you’d check out?  New members can try their first outfit for only $25 right now (no coupon code necessary), so if you are interested in ordering or just want to check out their outfits, click here. I should mention that if you take advantage of the $25 outfit offer, you WILL be enrolled in their monthly subscription. You are free to cancel at any time and it’s super easy to skip a month if getting an outfit every month isn’t for you, but I just wanted to give you a heads up because I see a lot of posts from people who didn’t realize that this would happen.
