February 2015 Orange Glad

The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!  I actually meant to cancel this month because I am trying not to eat all the snacks and treats anymore, but I forgot.

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail. It comes in a Flat Rate Bubble Mailer with the actual Orange Glad box inside.

First Look

The first look revealed another box (you can see the snacks in it below) as well as an item that wouldn’t fit in the gift box.

I always feel bad taking the pretty bow off the box, but it has to be done.  I mean, how else will I get to my snacks? I forgot to take a picture of the information card, but there was one in the box with all the details on the snacks.  Here is what the box February 2014 Orange Glad included:

~Annalisa Chocolates Caramel Sea Salt & Raspberry Truffles (~$2): That caramel sea salt chocolate had my name all over it.  Seriously.  I took a bite and it was amazing.  I left the raspberry one for B.

~Orange Glad We’re Mint to be Fudge: This isn’t in the shop yet, but it was made by the folks at Orange Glad.  It has hunks of Oreo’s and is flavored with chocolate and mint.  I have restrained myself from opening it so far, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

~Sugar Bowl Bakery Petite Palmiers: I am going to take Orange Glad’s suggestion and put some whipped cream on these and give them to the boys.  They have over three hundred layers of dough in them (amazing right)?

~Salem Baking Chocolate Dipped Sugar Moravian Cookies ($1.99): These little guys are red sugar cookies with a chocolate back on them.  I may actually save these as a special Valentine’s Day treat for the boys – if they last that long anyway.

~Cheryl’s Buttercream Valentine Cookies ($2): If you have never had Cheryl’s cookies before, you need to try them.  Or send them to a friend or something because they are awesome.  So good.  I believe they have a monthly subscription of them too!

I didn’t (couldn’t) do a cost breakdown on this box, but I for sure don’t think it’s a value box.  It’s a box that will introduce you to and let you try some yummy snacks without having to buy a dozen cookies or a box of truffles.

Love this box! I don’t like truffles, so I gave those to daughter. I’m jazzed to try everything else. I don’t like heavy chocolate, but I love mint chocolate, so I’m even excited about the fudge. This box is a win for me.

The Cheryl’s cookies are my weakness! A client used to send them for Halloween at my old job…so good!!
